I am sure this is a common one, but I save my paper scraps and reuse them in different projects.

use scraps first!! I save even ribbon scraps - they make cute ribbon tags on cards & scrapbook pages.

I am not a frugal scrapper :-( I am always buying things that I think I need. I am finding myself using more of my stash lately though and I am glad that I had stock piled so many things. I find using my Slice has helped save me a little money as I don't need to buy as many embellies because I can make them at home and they always coordinate better with my pages.
I would not be able to attend the event in Atlanta but wish I could because my dad lives near there and I miss him.
Thanks Ali!

I like using up all my scraps but pasting them all on a white piece of paper or cardstock so that the end result looks like a collage. I can then use this sheet of paper as a background or cut it up or punch it and use it as decorative elements.

Lovely giveaways - as to frugal scrapbooking, I frequently use the packaging of scrapbook goodies these days as well as vintage bookpages (last weekend I found a book of sheet music for £1 for about 50 pages). Also, using stamps, inks, paints, mists etc. makes scrapbooking a bit cheaper.

WOW!!!....awesome giveaways!!!...so much yumminess to take in....
my tip is to save your scraps, even the one's that are about 2" in size...i immediately take my stampin up 1 3/8" circle punch and my scallop punch and go ahead & punch them out & store them in a jar for some quick embellishments....

I really love sharing scrap paper, leftover stickers, and pieces or leftover embellishments with my friends. We always collect all of our extras and bring them to our crop sessions! Its almost like going shopping for special pieces and item to use for our pages!
I also really like digging through random items in my house that I can use for scrapping!
I would love to attend the Scrap Etc. event, and I would find a way to get there! :)
Thanks for the giveaways!!

I print my own pictures after improving them in Photoshop Elements or Corel. I can print a great variety of sizes and frequently get six or more pictures per sheet of photo paper. And then that means I can put even more pictures to a page in the album (no single pictures to a page for me!)

I've been really trying to be more frugal with my supplies and get more out of what I do purchase. My latest is masks - I use them again & again in different ways with tons of different looks. I've been using my stash of acrylic paint too - A little goes a long way!

Hi Ali! Thanks for the opportunities! My frugal tip is to use what I have, and not buy anything 'til I really need something... I also like to paint my own papers with watercolors, acrylics, & other paints I have on hand. Now I need to finish cleaning things off so I can actually start sbing again!!

I save my scraps and will even cut out the back of the paper that is covered by a pictures or title so that I have more scraps. Since that part wouldn't be seen anyway, it lets me stretch my papers further.

Lately, I've been using my punches more to make embellishments for my pages - definitely more economical over the long run - plus I love how they come out! As always, great giveaways this week! I would love to go to the Scrap Etc. event in Atlanta & hope I win!
