I actually do not scrapbook. I love playing with paper for notecards, garlands and other crafts.
The paper bundles are incredible! I'm going to head over to Paper Relics right now.

I save almost all of my scraps except for real small pieces. I have a huge been full of scraps that I use on a regular basis.

I use different household items to stamp backgrounds on paper: example-a crumpled up wal-mart or grocery store bag leaves a great stamped background image.
I also use the packaging from stickers, embellishments for tags, journaling blocks, etc.
I use the tags from some clothing--cool kids clothes have great tags on them!
I cut the spare, inside sewn buttons out of clothes to add to my button stash!
Bottle caps from cherry limeade drinks are cool to use too!
thanks for the chances to win!

Hi there, I love these give aways, Ali.
When I'm trying to be more frugal, the first thing I do is forget all the cutesy - and expensive -- embellishments and focus on the photos, cardstock, and writing. Carstock is super cheap. A good pen is only a few dollars -- add the photos and voila! a great remembrance!

My friends and I have been doing our monthly crops at a free crop. We occasionally still pay to go out and scrapbook but more and more we are trying to save by going to a local shop that offers free crops.

Can't do Atlanta but would love to win other stuff!
frugal tip: My local craft store, Robert's, has a 40% off coupon on one item every week and you can use one coupon a day. I go in once a week (or twice) and buy something pricy like stamps, adhesive refills, rub-ons with my coupon and police myself to only pick up one or two small items in addition. This way I save on the items I love and use often and don't go on a shopping spree once a month.

my frugal scrapbooking tip: when discarding stained or ripped clothing, first remove all buttons and add them to your scrapbook stash.
and oh, how i would just absolutely, positively LOVE to win tickets to the EVENT in Atlanta. my sister-in-law lives there and the thought of being able to spend an extra day before or after snuggling her baby girl and kissing those adorable baby cheeks is putting a giant smile on my face right now!
pick me! pick me!!

Instead of buying rub-ons and being able to use them only once, I buy stamps. That way, I'm able to reuse them over and over again...

My sister and I have started getting together to share our scrapbooking stuff. We have fun together, finish projects and hopefully spend less.
It would be great to attend Scrap Etc.

My frugal scrapbooking tip is to NOT go shopping. To force what you have to work. Not so much fun, but still helpful!

Something I do quite a bit is use buttons that I am not planning on using when I did not have 3-D pop-ups!! I just glue them on to give that 3-D effect!
Aweseome giveaways!! Love the assortment!!

I always cut out the back of my papers if another paper is going over them. If I do that I usually have enough scrap to make two cards from the leftovers! I have been trying to NOT do this sometimes since I have more scraps than I know what to do with but I can't help it!

my tip is that after i started using dubblesided scrapbooking tape the only other glue i need is a glue-pen for diecuts.. Finaly I don't need 100's of different glue types!!

Hi, thanks for the chance to win.
My frugal advice is also environmentally friendly - using the packaging as well as the negative side of letter stickers... (It adds lots of character too).

My frugal scrapbooking tip is to use up what I have before I buy more stuff. Thanks for the opportunity.

My tip - that's already been said many times - is to use your stash and don't get caught up in every new line coming out. If you wait a couple of months the "new" stuff is usually on sale. And since i live in Canada going to Atlanta is a little far ;) Thanks for the chances to win though!

I buy paper packs from Stampin' UP and they come with a chipboard piece in the packaging for stability. I use these to make mini books. (I wouldn't be able to attend the Atlanta event)
