Simplify 101 • one person will receive a spot in the online workshop Organize Your Paper Clutter with Aby Garvey
Paper, paper everywhere! That paper mountain growing on your countertop
represents a loss of freedom, a loss of control, and a nagging feeling
in your gut that something important isn’t getting attended to. Your
paper, and the feelings it creates, makes it hard to relax, focus or
even have fun.
Here’s
the good news: there is a better way! With the right paper organizing
systems in place—those created with you, your paper, and your home in
mind—you can free yourself from paper clutter and the stress that comes
along with it. In Organize Your Paper Clutter, you’ll learn a
step-by-step process on how to decide if you need a piece of paper (and
for how long!) and how to organize it so you’ll find it again right
when you need it! Your piles (and your stress!) will be replaced by
organizing systems you love, and feelings of confidence, relief and
peace of mind!
Start date: Tuesday, April 21, 2009
End date: Tuesday, June 9, 2009
Registration status: open!
Read more specific details for the workshop here.

My all time favorite book is Charlotte's Web. I read it about a million times when I was growing up and even saved my allowance for a month so I could buy the hardback copy. Love it!

My favorite book isn't just one book, it's a series. Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum novels. They are a blend of comedy and crime fiction. Once I start one of these I have to read it cover to cover before putting it down! Thanks for the awesome giveaway!

The Middle Place by Kelly Corrigan is such a heart warming book. Truly expresses the importance of family and relationships. Check out the video on her site. She has several videos of her reading excerpts from this book. One of the best I have read in a long time. http://www.kellycorrigan.com/
Thanks for the chance to win!

THE YEAR OF WONDERS by Geraldine Brooks. My favorite book. About a small village in the Middle Ages that has been infected by the Plague. Wonderful insight into how people make decisions; who will be a hero and who will be a coward. Powerful!

My favorite book is The Imagineering Guide to Epcot. They have one for Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom, but Epcot is my favorite park, and it's really interesting to read about how they designed each ride and section of the park.

My favorite book? Oooh, Ali. That's a tough one. I have so many favorites. But I'm going to say Writing Down the Bones by Natalie Goldberg because it's provided me so much inspiration, and it's a book I can read again and again and always find something new to delight me.

I read a lot, so it's hard to pick a favorite. There are a couple of books I consistently recommend... Girls' Night Out by Tamara Kreinin & Barbara Camens is a great collection of stories about groups of women who have bonded for various reasons and become friends. I very much would like to be able to jump into the middle of some of those stories and their lives. The other book I constantly recommend is your book, Life Artist, because I credit that for finally helping me move beyond "calling" myself a scrapbooker to actually BEING one. Read it over Christmas and finally figured out what's been holding me back (perfectionism is a big one...) I've completed almost 100 pages since January 1st, after going almost two years without doing a single page. So a huge THANKS to you, Ali!
