Simplify 101 • one person will receive a spot in the online workshop Organize Your Paper Clutter with Aby Garvey
Paper, paper everywhere! That paper mountain growing on your countertop
represents a loss of freedom, a loss of control, and a nagging feeling
in your gut that something important isn’t getting attended to. Your
paper, and the feelings it creates, makes it hard to relax, focus or
even have fun.
Here’s
the good news: there is a better way! With the right paper organizing
systems in place—those created with you, your paper, and your home in
mind—you can free yourself from paper clutter and the stress that comes
along with it. In Organize Your Paper Clutter, you’ll learn a
step-by-step process on how to decide if you need a piece of paper (and
for how long!) and how to organize it so you’ll find it again right
when you need it! Your piles (and your stress!) will be replaced by
organizing systems you love, and feelings of confidence, relief and
peace of mind!
Start date: Tuesday, April 21, 2009
End date: Tuesday, June 9, 2009
Registration status: open!
Read more specific details for the workshop here.

Hmm, I don't know if my comment posted or not... But my absolute favorite book of all time, is The Princess by Lori Wick..... It's one that when I'm finished reading, I usually restart it right after, I absolutely love it! It's such a great, great book!

i've been reading lots of books to my 2 children lately. the ones i really love are a collection that belonged to my husband and now our children get to enjoy them. they are the "sweet pickles" collection. written by Jacquelyn Reinach and illustrated by richard hefter. in the world of "sweet pickles," each animal gets into a pickle because of an all too human personality trait. for example, in the sweet pickles book "fixed by camel," she's a very practical camel and can fix anything. there are 26 books total and each one teaches a valuable lesson to be learned.

My favorite book right now is "The Last Lecture" by Randy Pausch. His lecture was called "Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams" and he delivered it to an audience at Carnegie Mellon University where he was a professor. He was sick with pancreatic cancer at the time and has since passed. I guarantee you won't want to put it down!!

A favorite book? That is like asking me which child is my favorite!
I love "Witch of Blackbird Pond" over the years I have picked up several copies to re-read.
"To Kill a Mockingbird" (I am in the process of re-reading it right now)
For a trendy favorite, "Twilight" series ... of course!
For my feminine side "The Secret Life of Bees" or "The Mermaid Chair" by Sue Monk Kidd
OH! I love all Jodi Picoult's books for a read that will make you really think about what you think you know. Awesome! (Though my favorite of hers would probably be "Tenth Circle" ... or "Nineteen Minutes" ... or ..oh, shoot, all of them!)
I also loved, loved, loved Anne Rice ... though my favorite of hers wasn't the Vampire or Withces Chronicles, but Ramses (which she never made into a series and I don't know why!)
You really opened a flood gate for me on this question! I just hope I WIN!!! I really am wanting to try out a monthly paper kit to see how I like them. Hint, hint. ;)

It's hard to choose just one....I love to read but I would have to say the Mitford series by Jan Karon is a great set of about 7 to 8 books that invite the reader into the lives of people who live in a small town. The first book, At Home in Mitford is one of my fav's out of the whole set.

My favorite book has to be "NOW - No Opportunity Wasted" by Phil Keoghan (the host of Amazing Race). It is totally along the lines of making a "Bucket List" and then acting on those things that matter most to you. Totally inspiring!

Loved the book Water for Elephants. Such a story, perhaps because my mother is in the throes of Alzheimer's.
