Simplify 101 • one person will receive a spot in the online workshop Organize Your Paper Clutter with Aby Garvey
Paper, paper everywhere! That paper mountain growing on your countertop
represents a loss of freedom, a loss of control, and a nagging feeling
in your gut that something important isn’t getting attended to. Your
paper, and the feelings it creates, makes it hard to relax, focus or
even have fun.
Here’s
the good news: there is a better way! With the right paper organizing
systems in place—those created with you, your paper, and your home in
mind—you can free yourself from paper clutter and the stress that comes
along with it. In Organize Your Paper Clutter, you’ll learn a
step-by-step process on how to decide if you need a piece of paper (and
for how long!) and how to organize it so you’ll find it again right
when you need it! Your piles (and your stress!) will be replaced by
organizing systems you love, and feelings of confidence, relief and
peace of mind!
Start date: Tuesday, April 21, 2009
End date: Tuesday, June 9, 2009
Registration status: open!
Read more specific details for the workshop here.

I consider myself a bit book-obsessed...I have many, many favorites. Currently, I'm re-reading Frank Peretti's The Oath for myself. My 2 yr old nephew is my reading buddy, and he & I are stuck on Welcome Little One by Sandra Magsamen. My sister has just had her 2nd baby, so Big Brother and I are learning how to welcome his little baby brother. So much fun! Thanks for the great give-away!

"The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari" ... I first read this book after seeing Jon Bon Jovi talk about it in an interview. I return to it again and again when I need to take a moment to rethink my priorities. Highly recommended.

I'm just a sucker for a ANY book with some romance in it. Not like the steamy, can't fall asleep, without waking my hubby up first, kind of romance... just the kind where you can't put the book down because the character development is SO GREAT and you feel like you, along with the girl/woman in the book are JUST as in love with that great guy!
I guess I don't really have a favorite, just love a GREAT book!

It's funny that you should ask about books because the other day I was perusing through Amazon.com and came across the Little Books by Jeffrey Gitomer. "Where do I know that name...?" I thought over and over.
DUH, ME!!! :-P
Right now I am reading - again - The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. Even perusing it occasionally, if someone's already read it, is a good reminder of things that we should keep in mind about ourselves and others in order to have positive, productive relationships.
Easier said than done, but we have to strive, right??
Blessings,

I've been reading the Torie O'Shea mysteries by Rett McPherson - the protagonist is a geneaologist and solves murders/crime by good old research and tracing family history/trees. It's a pretty fun series! I've almost read them all!
