Simplify 101 • one person will receive a spot in the online workshop Organize Your Paper Clutter with Aby Garvey

Paper, paper everywhere! That paper mountain growing on your countertop
represents a loss of freedom, a loss of control, and a nagging feeling
in your gut that something important isn’t getting attended to. Your
paper, and the feelings it creates, makes it hard to relax, focus or
even have fun.

Here’s
the good news: there is a better way! With the right paper organizing
systems in place—those created with you, your paper, and your home in
mind—you can free yourself from paper clutter and the stress that comes
along with it. In Organize Your Paper Clutter, you’ll learn a
step-by-step process on how to decide if you need a piece of paper (and
for how long!) and how to organize it so you’ll find it again right
when you need it! Your piles (and your stress!) will be replaced by
organizing systems you love, and feelings of confidence, relief and
peace of mind!

Start date: Tuesday, April 21, 2009
End date: Tuesday, June 9, 2009
Registration status:  open!

Second attempt to post. All time favorites: Anna Karenina, Hemingway short stories, Out of Africa, Angle of Repose.
Just finished Belong to Me, which I bought purely because of its cover, and was surprised to enjoy so much.
In the early months after a baby, I find I can only read nonfiction. Can't risk getting sucked into a really good novel, I guess. Currently enjoying A Whole New Mind: Why Right-Brainers Will Rule the World.

My book club recently read Inkheart (book that the movie of the same name that recently came out was based on). We all really enjoyed it! My sister has read the other two books in the trilogy and says they're equally good, if not better.

So excited to see you team up with Songbird Ave! Yay! Lately my favorite book is the one I'm reading to my fifth graders: Boys Against Girls by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor. It's a fun series that kids LOVE. They hate when I stop reading after only a chapter! :)

Favorite book from when I was little: The Giver... still think it's a classic, although controversial. The Harry Potter series isn't half bad, either!
