Simplify 101 • one person will receive a spot in the online workshop Organize Your Paper Clutter with Aby Garvey
Paper, paper everywhere! That paper mountain growing on your countertop
represents a loss of freedom, a loss of control, and a nagging feeling
in your gut that something important isn’t getting attended to. Your
paper, and the feelings it creates, makes it hard to relax, focus or
even have fun.
Here’s
the good news: there is a better way! With the right paper organizing
systems in place—those created with you, your paper, and your home in
mind—you can free yourself from paper clutter and the stress that comes
along with it. In Organize Your Paper Clutter, you’ll learn a
step-by-step process on how to decide if you need a piece of paper (and
for how long!) and how to organize it so you’ll find it again right
when you need it! Your piles (and your stress!) will be replaced by
organizing systems you love, and feelings of confidence, relief and
peace of mind!
Start date: Tuesday, April 21, 2009
End date: Tuesday, June 9, 2009
Registration status: open!
Read more specific details for the workshop here.

Oh Dear...where to start...I read every night(after scrapping)until I cant hold my eyes open any longer. I have just finished People of the Book by Geraldine Brookes which was brilliant. It covers many different centuries and great characters. I learnt so much more about religon and especially the plight of the Jewish from centuries ago. I would recommend this to anyone.
....can I just say that I am a paper pile freak and just cant seem to get a handle on it.

My favorite book is The Shack! I read it a few months ago and it challenged the things that I have grown up believing in but not really understanding myself. I would encourage everyone to read it for a new outlook on life!

For someone who works in a library, that is a difficult question. Usually my favorite book is the last one I read. :-) I have really enjoyed all the books by Adriana Trigiani. After reading the comments I am making a list of titles to request from the library! Cool idea.

I just finished Belong to Me, which isn't my normal taste (a bit more chick-lit than usual) and LOVED it. A nice surprise.
I love Wallace Stegner---Angle of Repose is wonderful and mammoth, Crossing to Safety is perfect as well as short.

My favorite book is the Twilight series... fun. But for a good building block book... "The 5 Love Languages" and "for kids" and "for teenagers"... great books! How could I resist learning more about how to better love the ones that mean the most to me. Love your stuff and your family is beautiful!

I am not sure if my last comment went through, I am having a lot of trouble leaving comments this and last week. Anyway....where to start? I read every night (after scrapping) until my eyes wont stay open any longer. I read earlier in the year a fabulous book called People of the Book by Geraldine Brookes. It was so well written spanning many centuries, with wonderful characters and locations. I learmt alot more about religion and the plight of the Jewish many centuries ago. Would recommend to anyone.
...on another note, I think my paper pile has been growing for a good 20 years...help!!!!!
