My favorite thing about summer is the extended daylight hours. I love being able to come home from work and still have a few hours to get outside and enjoy the sun or have a picnic dinner just before the sun goes down over the lake. Just Beautiful!

i just love the longer hours of daylight. it gives us much more flexibility about doing things outdoors, etc. eating a late dinner on the deck is so relaxed and indulgent!

Vacations to the beach, any beach!

My favorite thing about summer is that my kids won't have any homework/tests/other school related responsibilities...just pure freedom. Even though my husband and I still have to go to work all summer we are able to live vicariously through them and enjoy the no homework status of our household. ;-) blissful!

I love the warm weather and the chance to get outside and enjoy it! Our summer in the midwest is WAY too short so we try to enjoy every minute of it!

I love going to the farmers market and coming home to grill all the wonderful veggies we picked up.

Sunshine, swimming pools, steaks and hamburgers on the grill, sweet and cold watermelon and of course, smiling family enjoying all the above!!

Coffee on the deck in the morning. Just me and the birds and sometimes a deer or a possum. Before the kids and hubby wake up. Sometimes one of the kids comes out and quietly joins me, and that is nice, too.

After a first year at Kindergarten, my favorite thing about Summer will be having my boy home all day! :)

The best part of summer is the laid back schedule free life. My kids are all home and I love it!!

oh, so many things about the summer months: the lack of schedule for the kids, eating dinner on the deck, going in the pool after dinner; NO BULKY COATS! ok, that was the winner!

I love the slower pace of summer, playing with the grandkids, relaxing on the beach. Can't wait!

My favorite thing about the summer is the extra long days when it doesn't get fully dark until about 9pm. Ok, so here in TX it's hotter than blazes, but I still love the really long days!!
