The best thing about summer, is living so close to the beach, and the long days. It's wonderful just getting a BBQ chicken and potato salad, wine and soft drink for the kids and having a picnic dinner at the beach while it's still sunshine.

My favorite thing about the summer months is no schedule for the kids - sure, we have things that we do but we don't have to live by the clock and I so enjoy that. Can't wait til summer is here!

One of my favorite things about summer is birthdays! My birthday is today, and my brother, best friend, and cousin all have birthdays this month, too. I love celebrating another year of life and love.

I love the breeze that comes with the smell of fresh cut grass and outdoor grilling...

I LOVE summer evenings... I'm not sure if there's anything better, when it's warm out, still light out ... it's perfect!

My favorite part of summer is getting to feel people's happiness about their vacations, their kids playing, ice cream, you name it, just everything...it's the time of year where everyone can find something to smile about!

Ahhhh summertime...I love summertime...I love that there is no schedule and we are free to do whatever, whenever we please...so looking forward to the lazy days of summer :)

My favorite thing about the summer months is the warmth of the sun, the lack of snow, cookouts with family, fishing and all the memories that are made. :o)

I love being able to enjoy the weather outside. It's amazing how good a little sun soaking can make you feel. There is something bright inside that lights up when you can spend so much time outdoors enjoying the weather. I love those moments when you find yourself taking a deep breath enjoying just being alive!

The longer the day (light) the better for me, waking up with the sun up (even at 6 am) and going to bed with not too dark... gives me energy for myself and my family!

fresh pico, ice tea, farmers markets, laying by the pool, skirts, barbeques, outdoor projects...these are all of my favorite things about the summer!!

My favorite things about summer are going to the beach (of course!), lightning bugs (fireflies for those of you not from the South), and the sound of crickets and cicadas on summer nights.

I love the warm weather and bbq's with friends! Summer is my favorite season!

I moved to a city in a very cold climate about a year ago and for the first time I really appreciate summer (as a season, that is... I certainly have appreciated it as a vacation from school for a long time). There are so many wonderful things that happen here--crammed into those few, beautiful summer months... picnics by the river, roadtrips to the mountains to go hiking, and a different festival every weekend--food festivals, craft festivals, and even a fireworks festival! And gardening! Can't forget that!

I love going to the pool to swim. Also, iced tea and tuna sandwiches.
