My favorite thing about summer is that everyone can get outside! It keeps the kids happier. And we have such a great neighborhood that there is usually someone else outside to visit with - or even have impromptu parties.

pool time!!

Living in Winnipeg where we have very frigid winters (-40 degress Celsius), its the warmth and heat I enjoy the most and walking outside in just shorts instead of having 3 or 4 layers of clothing on. Nothing beats a Winnipeg summer!

Ahhhh, summer. I love to swim and go boating, plain and simple. Me & the kids always get pool or water park passes and swim practically every day, and my brother has a boat on the lake. I just can't get enough of the water, it's my favorite thing! And even thinking about it now makes me happy!

Ohhh, those kits are so yummy!

My favorite thing about summer is going to camp. NO i am not a mom-it's not my kids heading off to camp. It's me! i work there all summer and love it!

I love hanging out with my kids, gardening, and scrapping of course. I enjoy the slower pace and the fact that my kids don't have school work to interfere with our fun!
P.S. The kits are gorgeous!

Long days! I love coming home from work and being able to spend time outside with my little one while the sun is still shining!

Oops, was supposed to add what I love about summer.....no snow, warm weather (we just had snow yesterday May 12)

my favorite thing about summer is time with my daughter...i'm a teacher so during the summer we have a lot of time together. time to picnic, play, do the zoo, sprinkler time, etc.

My favorite thing about summer is swimming and laying around the pool soaking up the sun and reading and just relaxing...

Long evenings with light until 8:30 p.m....and lemonade on the porch. Yum!

Favorite things about the summer months....
spending the unlimited time with my beautiful 6 year old daughter...beach, chalk, scooters, tea parties, jumping rope.... (all things you have to look forward to with a daughter!)
And my other most favorite thing is spending time with our neighbors...they have become our *family* these past 3 years of living here....weekend fires, hanging out, monthly *field trips* for the kids...I love them and they are all amazing!!!

We love watermelon in the summer!!

I love the long carefree evenings, listening to the kids laughing and playing in the sprinkler and most of all the slower pace of no schedule to stick to.

I love fresh heirloom tomatoes from the farmers market. Actually, anything from the farmers market but the tomatoes sound really good to me right now!!!

I love that it stays light outside into the evening. It makes the day seem longer, and I feel like I can take things a bit slower.

i love being able to actually use my balcony space (not quite as inviting in the winter!)

Baseball! I was born and raised in Boston and am a die-hard Red Sox fan. I've adopted the Marlins since moving to South Florida but nothing beats my Sox. I love the lazy days of summer with baseball.
