My favorite thing about the summer months is having bbq's with the family out in the sun.

i love being able to sit at the pool all day & not feel bad about it!!

My favortie thing about the summer? That is an easy one...longer days. So nice to sit out in the backyard at 8 pm after the kids go to bed!

It has got to be late surprising the kids with a late night trip out for ice cream. The perfect ending to any summer day! :)

I would have to say the time we spend together as a family during the Summer is my favorite!!! During the winter my husband refs hockey and the kids both play but I can't skate. I manage the schedules, drive the kids
and enjoy watching but when it's summer we're in the pool together, playing in the yard together, golfing together..it's more fun when we can all participate!

I love that first jump in the lake because it "officially" means summer has begun...Riding around town with the sunroof open and windows down...Cotton dresses and flip-flops...Baseball games...Sunny days with not a cloud in sight...I just LOVE summer!

I am a teacher so naturally I looove summer! It isn't so much about not going to work because I love what I do. For me it is a time to recharge and focus. It is a couple months I can focus on me. Enjoy life, travel and visit with people I love! I also love fireflies, lemonade and flip flops!!

I just love the longer days and the more laid back atmosphere now that everyone is out of school. I love watching the sunsets from my front porch!

I love the lazy feel of the summer. Just being outside in the evenings with the family and being more relaxed. I love grilling out, eating ice cream outside, going to the lake, flip flops, etc. Thanks for the chance to win!

My favorite part of summer is nature. Love the flowers that summer brings and all of the beautiful color.
Also love that peoples demeanors seem to change during summer. Much more peacful than the hurried time of fall/Christmas season. Summer is a laid back time, the flip flops are proof!

My favorite things about the summer months is my kids. Watching them play outside and all the exploring!! It's great. Also all the wonderful food that is more readily available here in the Fraser Valley and all the wonderful outdoor activities that go on here - farmer's markets (where my baking table is) concerts, fairs, children's programs...it's really great!!! And of course all the bbq's and gatherings around the fire pit!! Love it!!!

My favorite part of summer is time in the pool with my books and my family!!

My favorite thing, right now, about the summer months is spending it with my 2 boys going to water parks and theme parks ALL SUMMER LONG! My oldest will be 17 soon and working...he'll be doin' his own thing, so I'm going to make this last summer with my kids, while they're kids, count!

What I LOVE about summer is spending more time with my 11 y/o grandson, Chris, and his friends. They keep me young and on my toes! Always love to set up 'day camp' for them with lots of games, crafts, swimming and picnics. Of course we catch it all in photos and scrap those. It's just a relaxed, fun time of year to just have fun!

I love the Florida storm clouds. They make the sky so beautiful.

Ahhh summer...I love the outdoor movie theater and Boston Terriers in the swimming pool!

I love summer, there's tons of things that make me happy about it, but my favorite has to be laying on the grass. Book, lemonade, sunglasses and flipflops complement the picture :)
