Hi Ali - One of my favorite things about summer? No homework! So much less stress for the whole family.

I love dinner on the patio, kids running in the sprinklers, garden growing, kids catching lizards and ladybugs, smiles stained from icecream from the icecream truck, flip flops with freshly painted toes, big bowls of summer fruit, bbq's with friends, and staying out late in the summer night heat.

I love summer for the freedom. I am a teacher and the summer months mean freedom to spend as much time with my children as possible!

My favorite thing about summer is evenings outside on our deck....after my son goes to sleep my husband and I sit outside, have a drink, play a game or just read next to each other as it gets dark. So peaceful.

Its the pool, hands down. We spend so much time there. Its more than just a place to swim. Its a community, built on years of social gatherings there. We eat there, play there, have parties and just hang out. Sometimes even when the weather is not so nice, we still hang out to chat. All the kids have grown up together, learned to swim and the families watch each other grow. A wonderful place! IT OPENS IN LESS THAN 2 WEEKS! Can't wait!

I love being able to do things outside with the kids in the summer. And home grown veggies - those are the best!

I love that it stays light late...so nice to sit in the yard after work and watch the sun go down.

oooh, so many favorite things about summer.... I love camping with the kids but also love just being home on our deck in the pool and lounging around... love summer!

Well, now that I am an official "adult" and have to work every day (even in the summer!), I'd have to say my favorite thing in these upcoming months is all the delicious fruit that is in season. (Especially peaches and cherries, yum!)

My most favorite thing about the summer months is bbq's and outside activities with my family! We get a chance to run around and play! :) Love them!

The best thing is not having a strict schedule. I can't wait for summer!

There are many things I love about the summer - all the sun, the long days, playing in the yard with the kids, grilling out, ice cream, the pool, going to the farm - I could go on. I just love summer!!!

I love that summer days are longer. I can come home from work make supper,clean up and there is still daylight left. I can go out and work in the garden or play with kids before dark. Of course the all time best thing is that it's warm.

I love How everything is just more relxed during the summer. I love lazy days in the backyard with my kids, ice cream cones on the front step, local outdoor concerts on the lawn, grilling, the smell of fresh cut grass, and THE BEACH - summer is my favorite season!

My favorite thing about summer is the longer days. I can get so much done after work because there is so much sun!!

I love the light... It's light early in the morning until late. The days are longer and I feel much more alive. Not to mention the warmth and going on vacation :o)
