Freedom is my favorite thing about summer. Freedom from a schedule (for the most part), freedom to spend time with my kids and husband, freedom to explore new places, freedom to play like a kid!

Hanging out in the backyard after a bbq dinner, watching the kids play ball. Enjoying a beer at 8 pm with the sun still out. Aaah...

As a home schooling mom, I look forward to the break (or at least much lighter schedule) from school with the kids. It gives a tiny bit more time for sewing, making pages, etc., and for hanging out with friends.

My favorite thing about Summer is enjoying my Grandma's fresh lemonade...her lemonade is the best I have ever tasted! Nothing better to cool you down on a hot Summer day! =}

Super cute kits for sure!! I love summer because we get to pull out the pool and enjoy our backyard! This year is going to be so much better then past years because Emily no longer is under going treatment (cancer) and doesn't have tubes anymore! She'll get to swim and ENJOY her summer!!

I'd have to say my fav. part about summer is the pool. Just another fun thing to do with the kiddo's!

My favorite thing about summer? Hmm, probably being able to wear skirts (and other lightweight clothes)! :)

My favorite thing about the summer is fruit. I admit I don't eat a ton of it all year, but when summer comes there are various types of melons and berries. I rarely have a meal without one of those bursts of color and flavor added to it. Every year that is the best part of summer!

Vacation!! My husband and I have made a pact to go on vacation every year. This year- a cruise! A FREE cruise to boot! :) The memories made and the time shared is priceless and loads of fun to scrap. I love looking back at all of our trips and reliving the good time we had and all the wonderful people er met along the way.

I love spending time at the family cottage each summer, down on the dock, jumping in the water when it gets too hot....

Laying on the grass with the sounds of the birds... watching big fluffy clouds float by... and getting the kids to tell me what they see

Hi Ali, Favorite things about summer. . .my daughter is home, days trips, NO MUDDY, WET DOG PAWS (we have two black labs), greenery, planting flowers, SUMMER FRUIT (strawberries, rasberries, blueberries, etc.),
making sno-cones, BBQing every night, the sounds of birds in the morning and frogs at night, laying in a hammock reading a book or (taking a nap) (:
and having pretend "camping trips" to our backyard.
I could go on and on and on. . . .(:

I enjoy having the time to relax and have fun with my family.

I love not having to rush the kids in the morning and enjoying the relaxed schedule all day.

My parents just bought a cabin, so this summer I am looking forward to lazy days by the lake. I can't wait!

I love packing up and heading to the beach. We bought a beach cart last year so it makes it so much easier to haul the cooler, towels, sand toys and my beach chair to the shore.
