Mmmm...I love the summer months. By far, my favourite things is the long days. I live in the north and we get about nineteen hours of daylight at summer's peak. It's heavenly.

I love to work in the yard. I hope to get our backyard into real shape this summer so we can really enjoy it. I'm going to plant a garden, too.

My favorite thing about summer is being able to be outside without all the winter gear on.

I love having the summer off (I'm a teacher) to spend with my kids and husband.

Sunshine!! Living in New England, where the winters are dreadfully long and cold, the warmth of that big beautiful sun does me wonders!!

Our little plastic pool and my little one's love of it.

My absolute favorite thing about the summer months is how things slow down. No school work and other school events taking up our nights and weekends. We get to just relax at the lake on the weekends and be together as a family!

In Illinois, I loved being outside in the summer and the fresh garden produce. In TX, I love the Air Conditioning in the summer!

My favorite thing about the summer months is BBQ's. There are always people BBQing and the smell makes me happy. My mom throws a July BBQ every year and it is a great time to get together with friends and family.

My favorite thing about summer is sitting out on the front porch with our neighbors that have become good friends, chatting and watching the kids play. And I also enjoy our pizza on the porch tradition. Sunday nights...ordering pizza with the neighbors and everyone gathering on our front porch. The kids have been asking when it will be warm enough for it again!

I enjoy not having to wake up at the crack of dawn to prepare for school :), I love sitting out in our gazebo with a diet coke while the kids happily splash in the kiddie pool and pick strawberries from the garden.

My favorite thing about the summer months are the vacations and mission trips. Whether we go far away or stay close to home, I have more to scrapbook.

I absolutely love hot summer nights! The kind where you can still be outside in shorts and a tank top. Even though I don't live somewhere with fireflies. I absolutely love them too! So beautiful!

I'm especially looking forward to THIS summer. After running an inhome daycare for the past 3 years, this will be the first summer that I get to spend with just MY kids since they were 2 and 1! I can't wait to just ENJOY them!

I love the warm weather, going to the farmer's market, longer days, Bar-b-ques, fresh picked fruits & berries & corn on the cob just to name of few - I LOVE SUMMER!!!
