I love the long summer days. I like waking up to sunlight and going to bed sometimes when it's still light. I love butterflies and flowers and how the world seems to spring to life and is in it's glory.

BBQ's. Thats the best part of summer. Having people over, food over the grill, hanging outdoors, enjoying the sun!

Swimming, rocking on the front porch, blueberries, tomatoes, fresh basil---anything from the garden!

The best thing by FAR about summer is having time with my children when they are home from school! Our school year calendar is so busy with sports, music, and school activities, which are always fun and enriching, but I always greatly anticipate the long stretches of time that I have with all three of them to talk, play, and just hang out! Bring on the Summer!

I love going for a boat ride at the cottage to get some ice cream! it's even better when my dh surprises me with it~

My favorite things about summer?? Being warm ALL the time, having my kidlets to myself all day and fresh watermelon with BBQ chicken for dinner.

that the kids have no homework that I have to nag them to do!

My favorite thing about summer is gathering around the fire pit with friends & family sharing stories, laughing & making s' mores. Yum!

I love to be able to eat outside... Love summer!

I can actually see the numbers on my calendar because the kids activities slow down!

I really think people are kinder during the summer months! The sun has that affect! I love watching my garden grow.....eating outside on the veranda....wearing my flip flops.......my kids running through the sprinklers.........lemonade!!

No School that's gotta be one of my favorites. Not having to rush anywhere, no homework, and just lazy days where we can play and do whatever we want. It's great and I can't wait for it to get here.

Swimming, swimming, swimming! I love swimming and this year I hope to be able to take my 3-year-old and 1-year-old to the pool with other Mommy friends.

My favorite thing about summer is swimming, BBQ with frieds, & sweet watermelon. Just taking it easy.

Warm weather! Getting to go to the park, and family walks. Living in MN you feel quite cooped up during the VERY long winter...we are so happy to have weather where we can get out and play!

Favorite thing: picking strawberries and raspberries...

I can't wait for summer. It is still a little too chilly here for my taste. I love SILVER FOX SNOW CONES in the summer and swimming with my kids at the pool.

I know it isn't the PC thing....but I love SUN. Lots of it!
