My favorite part of Summer has to be the weather. Time for tank top, flip flop adn shorts.

I love the shedding of the winter coats! So much easier and carefree to get up and go without having to bundle up self, and three little kids.

My favorite thing about summer is the smells - suntan lotion, chlorine at the pool, cooking out, the smell of corn on the cob, flowers and herbs in the garden, the smell of fireworks ash, strawberries! nothing beats the smell of summertime.

What do I lvoe about the summer months? Being an Oregonian, I especially love the absence of rain and all the lovely colors and life all around me! I don't like the heat though! I also love the longer days and listening to the birdies chirp at dawn/dusk. I also LOVE the Portland Rose Festival and all the parades, lol!!

Summer gives me more time to scrapbook! Hibernating indoors until fall would be my favorite thing about the hot sticky summer.

Long evenings outside with friends and kids and food and wine and the bbq and the beach (and line dried washing!)

One of my favorite things about summer is going bare foot. But my very fav thing is road trips east, to see my family!

I love late summer nights, mountain biking, hiking, four-day weekend road trips, swimming at the res, running outside (not on the treadmill), fresh air, warm weather, and of course, my birthday. :0) Hope I win!

What adorable kits! Who wouldn't love either one?! A couple of my favorite things about the summer months are our vegetable garden, splashing around with the kids in their kiddie pool and going for evening walks together. Have a great summer!

Long days! And air conditioning, cold showers, and non-toxic bug spray (it's hot and humid and buggy here). :)

I just loving being outdoors with the sun shining later into the evening. It just frees us up to play a bit after dinner with daddy while I get baths ready.

There's so much to love about the summer months... wearing shorts, firing up the grill, swimming, the long days, evening walks, and spending time outdoors.

I love all the fresh fruit and vegetables - and going to the garden or the farmer's market to pick it up!! Oh, and the relaxed routine too :))

What I love most about the summer months are wearing shorts, tank tops and flip flops! I live in AZ and it gets REALLY REALLY not and anymore clothes than that is unbearable!
