In Oregon my favorite things about summer are those days that you don't have to wear a jacket... not too hot but beautiful. I love the Art Fair. I also love the new vacation spot we found at the coast. The coastal home has no cable, no internet, and is a little dated in decor. It is a perfect place to just excape. I also love Marionberry icecream. Perfect.

My favorite thing about the summer months is swimming. There is something so healing about the feeling of being under water. In Austin Texas, where I live, we have Barton Springs, a natural spring that is 68 degrees (cold!!) all year round. It's so amazing swimming there in the hundred degree heat!

My favorite thing about summer is having my two girls home from school--lots of relaxed time with more daylight.

My most favorite part of summer is that my two beautiful children have no strict schedule. I love watching how free they feel and truth be told I feel a little (ok alot) less stress during the summer months for the same reason.

I am so happy when the daylight lasts so long after I get home from work. Summer vacation is another favorite, but that's a given!

I live in Alberta, Canada so the best thing about summer is definately the warmer weather and camping, can't forget the camping!

Hard question. But I would choose working less because it means more time for the children, more time for scrapbooking, time for the pool and sun, a BBQ on a weekday ....

Having a break from school and club meetings, activities, etc. All 3 of my kids have a motor neuron disease called SMA, plus I have severe Rheumatoid Arthritis so it is so nice not to have to get 3 kids ready every morning, load them in the van, etc. Just being able to stay at home is a day at the spa for me. :)

My favorite thing about the summer months is sitting in the sun on the porch swing...

Fave thing about summer...the late July nights when the heat has finally cooled down in the south and the kids are all running around playing games while the parents sit outside chatting.

My favorite thing about the summer months is more hours of daylight and not having to go anywhere! :) No preschool, no Girl Scouts, no AWANA at church - our days belong to *us*!!! :)

I think the thing I love most is the FREE entertainment of going to the park or the many fountains here in the Portland metro area.
