My favorite thing of the summer is "no schedule". It's good to just "chill out" - even in the 100 degree Texas weather. And I get a chance to catch up on all the projects I've put off during the year while homeschooling.

I am a school nurse so I have the summers off with my school age kids. I'm so looking forward to just waking up and spending the full days with them doing nothing but fun things we love.

You would think living in Georgia summer wouldn't be special since it practically starts in March, but I love being WARM. Not having to think about what I put on when I get up, knowing it's going to be hot as yesterday. I love finding little creeks to play in with the kids and thumbing my nose at the watering ban because kids should play in sprinklers in the summer!

My favorite thing is having the kids at home all day with me. This will be my last summer with only two, so I am looking forward to every moment!

My favorite thing about summer is my kids being home every day. I love spending time with them. Just being together doing summer things, swimming, popsicles, sidewalk chalk, ice tea...I could go on, and on.

As a student and now a teacher, I love summer for the carefree times it brings. I can sleep in, wear flip flops, make time to scrapbook, and spend a Tuesday night visiting a friend in another town.

The long days, the sun warming up the air, eating outside... I love it all!

I am a teacher so I love being home from the summer and having my little one to play with. It is a nice break for both us, such a great perk as a teacher :-)

Pool parties, watermelon, sunny days, the fact that it doesn't get dark until late, fireflies, spending time with friends and family.

I love going to Lake Michigan and listen to the waves.

What isn't there to love about summer- beautiful gardens, grandchildren swimming in the pool, bbq's and Little League baseball games.

my favorite thing about summer is the sounds floating about the neighborhood in the cool of the evening. the children playing in the dusk. a neighbor's sprinkler running in their yard. the crickets hidden in the bushes. a warm breeze blowing gently through open windows. the evening provides sounds of comfort.

I love eating outdoors on the patio.

I love not having to run around in the morning getting the kids ready for school before I leave for work. I love the sun and the water, being out on the boat, fishing and just chilling with my husband and kids.

I love sitting by the lake while my boys swim, and garden fresh tomatoes.

The thing I love most about summer is the long days. So many hours of sunshine & warmth. We have long dark winters where we live, so I just love to spend the days & late evenings outside in our yard. The other thing I love about summer is flowers. I simply love to fill up the flower gardens each spring and enjoy watching them bloom all thru summer.

My favorite thing about the summer months is the warm sun! I really love great hot weather! It makes me happy!!! Oh! And my summer wardrobe! That makes me happy, too!

My favorite thing about the summer is getting to relax and sleep in a little. I also like to go to the beach and do a lot of crafts with my 2 daughters.
