My favourite summer tradition is heading down to our beach house and spending time with the whole family. All 12 of us...our family has been enjoying spending time their for just over 60 year, my son is the 4th generation to enjoy the house and the beach down there. We all have a great time, spending time together, going to the beach, backyard cricket, walks, the lighthouse, playing cards, playing board games and just laughing and talking with each other!

I run around with my 2 girls at night catching lightning bugs. They get to stay up late (which they love) and I get to do something I used to do with my siblings when I was a kid.

Every year we vacation in Northern MI. Not far from the Big Lake (Lake MI). We love it. We go to the beaches and the parks. The kids love playing in the sand, swimming and playing on the playground equipment. Just being on the water relaxes me and my husband. I can't wait to go again in a month. Thanks, Ali, for the chance at some great giveaways.

My family lives 1500 miles away so my family traditions are with my friends, we tend to get together for BBQ , swimming and volleyball. Lots of laughs, pulled muscles and sunburns the next day. So much fun.

Our summer traditions are to have the days loosely scheduled and unhemmed as possible. We now live close to a great water park with a 6-8 pm session which is not as crowded and not as hot as day swimming. After an evening in the wave pool we often return to make snow cones ($19.99 at Target, no hone should be without one!!) on the deck.
Thank you Ali!!!

Our favorite tradition is the 2 weeks we spend at the lake. No tv, no computer, no responsibilities, just sand and sun and family. It rejuvenates us all to get away from our normal routine.

My favorite summer tradition... Gotta be the summer vacation. Even this year when we're strapped for cash, I'm determined to squeeze a little vacation time in. A great excuse to wear shorts, flip flops and a ponytail--and appreciate the warm temperatures!
Thanks for such an awesome giveaway!!

This summer we will be making new memories in our new home... some the same, others different... and some meet in the middle. Old... Going to the local park for the fireworks display/picnic with friends... New... we have a pool this summer (a real, in the ground pool) and we're looking forward to cooling off from the summer heat!!! Meet in the middle... we love having BBQ's with family and friends... just as we did in the old house... so right now we're planning our first BBQ in the new one... can't wait to share our new place and new memories with everyone.... it's going to be a great summer!!!

To me summer means tons of grilling. Strawberry and blueberry picking is also a favorite tradition of mine.
