Hands down the backyard/front porch dining/bbq with friends. I just love hanging out outside and munching away as we spend time together and watch the day end together! Sher B.

Just going to the pool, having dinner late because it's too nice to come inside, and eating all the delicious fresh summer fruits.

We love to spend time with family on the 4th of July. We eat, play games and have fun all afternoon together. After dark we watch the fireworks.

A Sunday night walk around the neighborhood. We like to stop by and visit with our friends at their houses. We are even starting to see some familiar faces of other families out for their evening walks.
It's a nice way to start out the week.

My adult children and I have summer birthdays. Now that they are spread across the country we have a "Birthdaypalooza" celebration. It gives us a mid-year chance to all get together. We go all out with decoratiions, cakes, and activities. Fun!

What great prizes. The only summer tradition I can think of is having a yard sale and going to Florida (home) to go to the water parks and beaches. Leaving for that soon-can't wait!!!

My favorite tradition is fireworks. Here in Milwaukee, the "big" fireworks are on July 3rd at the lakefront and then all the communities have them on the 4th, so we get a double-dose!

Two words....The Beach! My summers as a child and now my children's summers always revolve around beach activity. The ocean washes any troubles away.

well ... seeing it is now winter here .. thinking about my favourite summer thing is fun.... for me ... it is picnics by the river ... we live about 20 mins away from a lovely river with nice picnic areas along it - so DH and i often take a drive and have an evening picnic together - it is always a great end to a summers day

Just spending weekends together, usually at the pool. The school year is SOOO hectic w/ afterschool activities, it's fun to look forward to the summer when we can wind down a bit... And my kiddo's can both swim without ME this year so it means relaxation for Mommie! LOVE your blog! xo, :)

My favorite memory, and one I can't wait to create for my girls, was simply going swimming in the ocean.

One of my favorite summer traditions is right around the corner! Our community has a July 4th celebration and then after the fireworks, we have friends & family over & shoot off TONS of fireworks! A fun time had by all!
