One of my favorite summer traditions is fairly new. Pizza on the Porch with our neighbors that have turned into great friends. We gather on our front porch on Sunday evenings. Order some pizza, everyone contributes to cookies, chips or other food, brings along lemonade or paper plates. We get to sit around and enjoy one another's company and laugh -- a lot! The kids look forward to it as much as we do and run and play all night after their pizza is devoured. It's a great way to bring the weekend to the close and to kick off the start of a new week.

Every summer we go to some cabins on a lake in rural Florida, we've being going as a family and with friends since I was a teen. Now I'm "all grown up" my boyfriend and I go with our friends. The smell of the cabins takes me back to being 14 in an instant.

I have 2 little ones and spending time with them outside is so much fun. I love getting little stubs of flowers that they pick in the yard! If that isn't love I don't know what is.

Swimming in our pool as much as possible. It gets pretty hot here in central CA (like today, whew) and we like to cool down in the pool most afternoons. If it's too hot we'll go swimming after dinner. So everyone is nice and cool when they go to bed. :)

Thanks for the opportunity to win these fantastic items!
A time honored summer tradition with my Dad and I are grilled hotdogs! We make them every day just about starting in May and going well into September. Nothing like a dog cooked on an open flame!

My favorite Summer moment has to be watching the moon rise each night on our camping trips. It's magical and my husband, daughter and I sit snuggled up together whispering our ohhs and awwws, feeling the glory of the universe as time seems to slow down just for us.

Our summer tradition is sitting outside on the patio around the firepit making s'mores. I like my marshmellows burnt before I put them on the chocolate and graham cracker. No one else in my family likes them that well done. haha We also have two family reunions every summer. My dad's side of the family just had our 47th annual reunion.

Today!! 59th Annual Squire Creek Peach Fest. Hit the farmers market on the way, grab candy & prizes at the parade, then battle the heat & crowds downtown at the arts, crafts & games.
I get sooo excited every year and 102 degrees is really too hot. But we went anyway.
