One of my traditions for summer is a one week camping trip to the Sunshine Coast of BC. My entire goes, aunts, uncles, cousins, and we pretty much reserve the entire camp ground and we have a blast. We fish, water ski, dig for clams and pick oysters. Leaving in two weeks for this trip and cant wait.

Hi Ali---My favorite summer tradition is probably just as simple as being outside and spending time with family, it seems that once may hits we come out of hibernation and begin to enjoy life in a new way! Lisa

My favorite summer tradition is going to the Saturday Farmer's Market, picking up lots of fresh produce and going home to make a BLT with the most juicy, delicious tomatoes and a couple ears of sweet corn!!

One of our favorite summer traditions is going to the City Band concerts in the park on Wednesday evenings! Great music, and we always see so many people we know. The most fun part for me is watching the little ones dance to the music. One of the concerts each summer is always specially geared to children, and the highlight is when drum majors from the university here in town lead the kids on a march around the park. . . classic!

Our favorite tradition is going to the beach as much as we can. It's only 2 hours away and gets us out of the heat.

Only during the summer do we have "Scooby Snacks" in the evenings. These are simply s'mores made by softening the marshmallow in the microwave for 15 seconds then squishing between the chocolate and graham cracker. We started this about 7 years ago and love looking forward to the first day of summer so we can partake when there's no campfire nearby!

The Fourth Of July is my favorite day of summer! Every year, my husband and I spend time with our friends out on the boat with all of our friends and we sit up top and watch the fireworks on the water. It's the coolest thing!

Whenever the first sweet corn and tomatoes come in, our tradition is to make creamed corn served over biscuits with tomatoes on the side washed down with a glass of sweet tea. YUM!

So many traditions:
Spending Canada Day with my in-laws watching the Canada Day parade, having a BBQ, and ending the night with fireworks.
Beach Day with a family who are friends of ours - we spend the day playing in the water, having a picnic on the beach, and my friend and I sneak away for an hour to look in the local shops.
Daytrips to local attractions - inexpensive, easy, quick, and tons of fun!
Historic walks around town exploring local areas and learning the history behind them.
I LOVE summer!!!
