I like going to the fireworks festival down at Nagoya Port. I also like eating marshmallows by the campfire and staying up late chatting with friends.

My favorite summer tradition is cuddling with my husband in the backyard as we watch the 4th of July fireworks. The kids are too little to stay up that late so it is some rare quality time that I can spend with just him.

A favorite summer tradition is going to Broken Bow Oklahoma with friends and family over the 4th of July. It's such a great time to spend with family and friends every year.

Hi Ali!! My favorite summer tradition has to be tent camping out in the woods. Not RV camping or trailer camping, but just old fashioned tent camping and cooking over the fire. Waking up with the sun and jumping in the lake are what summer was made for!!!
Thanks for the chance to win such great prizes!

We love going to see our excellent local symphony orchestra outside, on the lawn, eating a wonderful picnic dinner. Our kids are old enough to join us now...we love it!

When I was a young girl, summer meant girl scout camp x 2 for 2 weeks each. I loved going to those camps. My son is now on his third year of scout and church camp. He too loves them.

What an amazing group of prizes!! Thanks for the chance to win, Ali, and thanks also to your sponsors.
A favorite summer tradition in our family is celebrating so many events in June: my dad, my husband, son, and my nephew all have birthdays in June - within a couple of weeks of each other. And then of course there's Father's Day thrown in there, so we have a whole month of celebrations!

My favorite summer tradition is one that has stretched from childhood and into adulthood and now, the childhood of my own children. In the summer months, in the later part of the day, we head down to Oakland beach, it's okay for swimming, but very rocky. The best part of the beach is when we have fresh clam cakes & dough boys from Iggy's and walk along the beach and feed the seagulls and usually, watch the sun set.

My favorite summer tradition are those extra days I take off from work, when the kids are home, when I can sleep in, putter around the yard, tidy up the house, re-organize the house during the heat of the day, drink lemonade, clean up, make a quick trip the local garden place (a cute home-based farm) for fresh fruit and flowers...in the evening we BBQ on the deck, usually something extremely simple like hot dogs, fresh fruit and ice tea...then I sit outside and read or just sit and "be". At dark I come in, take a shower, and climb in bed to watch TV in my now cooled down house. Sigh. I really need more of these types of days!
