My fav childhood summer memory was my first airplane ride to California with my sister & my grandma. She took us to Disney Land & Universal Studios. :-)

My fav. childhood memory is getting to spend a week at each of my grandparents' house. Those days provide me with so many wonderful moments with my grandparents: riding in the back of a pick-up in the orchard, picking fruit, going to the "Rocketship" park, the city swimming pool, cooking with grandma, and being loved and spoiled!

My Mother gave me a small doll and a travel trunk...Muffy. We travled all the time and Muffy went with me where ever we traveled. I remember sitting on the floor talking, playing, and just enjoying her.
Such a nice feeling when I think of Muffy...

Every summer, my family drove to my great grandpa's house on the shore of Lake Superior in Michigan. I loved sitting on his lawn, listening to the wind rustle the leaves of the birch trees. I could smell the campfires and hear the water lapping up against the shore. Perfect.

Besides all the summer games with friends one of my favorite memories was waiting for the sno-cone man to come home. He was my friend's father and lived next door. He always gave us free sno-cones when he got back.

Love the summer tags!
My favorite summertime memory from childhood is going to watch the fireworks in the back of my grandpa's truck. Mom and Grandma would always make homemade caramel corn, and we would sit, bundled up in blankets, and eat and ooh and aah.

My favorite summer memory from growing up is camping with my family. We would never stay in one place for more than 2 nights before moving on.

My favorite childhood summertime memory would have to be inner tubing down the creek with my friends and family. We live in a tiny town with a creek running all the way through it and that was my favorite thing to do all summer. I can't wait until my kids are old enough to do it too.

Funny, the first thing that comes to mind is playing in the little plastic pool in our backyard. We had a lot of fun sliding down the little slide. Makes me realize that often it doesn't take big expensive trips or things to create fun memories.

My favorite summer memory is going to Montana every summer to Seely Lake. We would camp on the lake, water ski all day and finish the day by the campfire. It was all relaxing and that's where I met my 1st boyfriend who I still keep in touch with 17 years later.

One of my favorite summer memories growing up was time spent with my 4 other siblings.. We got into rasberry fight one time that left us a mess. I'll never forget the look on mom and dad's face when we came home. We were the new kids on the block and had went for a walk with some other kids that had made friends with us.
Mom and dad stood out in the yard and hosed us all down!
