favorite summer memory is going to the pool w/ my family!

Grasshoppers in the long grass on hot, hot, hot days. I'm not entirely sure why, but that's what comes to mind . . .

I remember spending the whole summer outside exploring the farm we lived on - hiking into the woods, walking through the cornfields, playing in the barn, climbing trees, and playing in the front yard. Then I would come inside and read book after book. I'd love to have a summer like that again!

My favorite summer memory would just be playing outside until the lightning bugs came out. Then, we would catch some and go inside. Simple, but lovely.

My favorite summer time memory - swimming on the swim team for my lake community.

I live in this sunny island, and it is summer all year long! :) My fave childhood memory is those time spent with my siblings and cousins. The whole gang of us would go trees climbing (rambutan and guava tress were my fave), dragonflies catching, fishing or simply playing in the little river.

Going barefoot everyday and LIVING in my swimsuit.

Our family would go to a resort/lake in Northern MN where we would park our camper for the entire summer. We would maybe come home for a week or two in July, but that was it. It was so nice to have a vacation "home" and as a kid it was fun to meet all the new families coming to stay at the resort. We made so many memories there!

Summer camp in Minnesota! Not too hot during the day and nice and cool at night!
and fireflies - we don't have fireflies in Texas - so sad

I remember being able to stay outside after darn and catching firefly's in mason jars!

favorite childhood memory - playing outside on bikes in the neighborhood and having to be home by the time the street lights came on.. so much fun.. dirt under nails.. no cell phones, no video games, no worries then

My fave summer time memory as a child would be fishing with the family and waiting for the ice cream truck to come down our street!

My favorite summertime memory is that of spending time with my grandparents at their house for several weeks at a time and getting to learn more about my parents growing up and the history that makes me who I am.

I loved riding my bicycle, riding on my dad's farm wagon, and especially fresh tomatoes out of the garden.

I have very fond memories of our family camping every summer. My father was a teacher and my mom stayed home when we were young, so we had many opportunities to travel in our province and country.

I loved riding my bike in the summer and also riding in my dad's farm wagon. And fresh garden tomatoes tasted good then, more than any in the stores now.
