my favorite december tradition is one we are re-starting this year. building gingerbread houses!

my favourite tradition is, that we get our gifts on the 24th at night or in the afternoon over here in germany, that makes it so much more festive, cause we all dress up, go to church, have a great dinner and sing and than have gifts :)

My husband and I (it's just the two of us) always have an annual Christmas music date. This year we've got tickets to see Manheim Steamroller. I'm so excited! I've always wanted to see them.

I am a big fan of all things Christmas....and I usually have to work so I don't always get to participate in the family stuff but this year I am off because I had a baby in October and I don't go back until after Christmas. The thing I cannot wait for is driving to my Grandma's house on Christmas Eve. There is family and food. It is the one time year when we can all count on seeing each other. My Grandma always worries that there is no money for presents from them and no one cares. We have been getting together at grandma's house since I was born and the whole season just doesn't feel the same when I can't go.

My favorite Christmas traditions were started when my niece and nephew (now 16) were little and have continued now with my toddler. They get new Christmas pajamas to open on Christmas Eve. Once they are in their new jammies, we read "Twas the Night Before Christmas" together. Then leave cookies and milk for Santa. Thanks for the great giveaways!

wonderful giveaways! Our favorite winter tradition is going to the small east texas town where my grandparents are from and touring the downtown winter wonderland of lights! It's magical every time!

My favorite Christmas tradition is decorating, I love when you open all the boxes and look through them, the best part is going though the christmas cards we recieved the years before.

our favorite tradition is probably cutting the tree. I love watching the kids run through the tree farm (even tho they are now teens) and laughing. Now my oldest can cut the tree, rather than his Dad!

Favorite December activity--ALL;o) It really is too hard to pick, but I love opening my stocking. It brings me so many memories from childhood!

i love making gifts for my friends to celebrate the holidays...making something that they will enjoy.

My favorite tradition is getting together with my family on Christmas Eve. We lived in two different countries for over 15 years, so to be able to get together now is awesome. It brings back memories of childhood. And of course, having our own children added to the mix is even better. We miss those who are still far away or have passed on :-(

i love when our whole family piles in the car (each of us wearing our Christmas pj's) and drives around looking at lights.....after driving through and getting coffee and hot cocoa, Christmas tunes blaring of course. ;)

The tradition I love the most is bringing out all the Christmas stories and reading one each night. We start with the Elf on the Shelf and he has become the kid's favorite.
