One of my favorite Christmas traditions is enjoying my sister Katrina's sugar cookies. They are absolutely the best and my nephews go crazy about them too. It's just a wonderful time to be with family and friends.

We read one Christmas book each evening from the first through the 25. My girls love adding new stories each year and reading their old favorites as well.

We go down to the beach the first Monday of December each season and build Sandmen. We decorate them just like snowmen. We drink hot cocoa and eat treats. We get all sandy and it is wonderful! This will be our 8th year!! I can't wait! Merry Christmas, Ali!! Thanks for all the inspiration...

My favorite tradition was going to see a Christmas music show called The Huron Carole. It doesn't tour anymore under that name, but I went for several years in a row and it was where my husband and I went on our second date, the first real one we chose to go on (the first was a set up).
