My word is consciousness, and for me, that means paying attention to what goes into my body as well as what comes out of my mouth. Trying for a more gentler approach to life as well as to stop being so judgmental of others. Everyone in life is on their own unique journey.

My word is Peace. I want to feel at peace with situations I have no control over. I also plan on actively showing my kids how to have peace within themselves. By feeling good about themselves and alloweing themselves to fail without beating themselves up. By doing small things to keep the peace in the house. I see so many possibilities for the upcoming year!

still trying to get my exact word, trying to many similar ones on for size, but not sold on a true fit yet. But my word is revolving around being present, maybe intentional, possibly consistent, deliberate, something like this. So to be a part of my word, I am going to extend the school day by staying at the playground for an extra 30 minutes each day to just "be" with my kids. they love it and it is a realistic way to play with them each day!

My word is peace... I am going to take 5 minutes several times a day to find some inner peace. Hopefully that will help with peace in my outside world as well.

My word is a bit different from usual. It doesn't focus so much on me time, but instead on living. My word is EFFORT. I was going to use "try" and didn't feel it was complete. My hubby suggested EFFORT and I loved it. No, it isn't his word! The last year was tough for me and I started to shy away from everything in order to protect myself and my time. I went too far in the other direction and now I want to make the EFFORT to get back into some things!

My word is REDUCE. Reduce weight, clutter, unscrapped photos, stress, etc. The first day of my new year had REDUCE demonstrated in 2 ways. I cleaned out a whole room and REDUCED clutter! I also started on the new Wii Fit Plus, so hopefully reduced some fat!

My word for 2010 is "Happiness". I am trying to pull myself out of the most difficult past 2 years. I am starting every day with a smile before I get out of bed & journaling something that will make me happy during the day to come.

I think my word for the year is going to be BALANCE. My mom passed away in September, so I am trying to balance my Dad's needs along with those of my husband and kids. Balance also for time for me, balancing my wants with my needs in this economy and balancing my emotions with 3 teenagers in this house.

My word is time, and today I've taken actions by completing the worksheet you shared yesterday. I'm planning the little actions that will give me more time to spend with my chldren and give ME more time too.

My word is "beauty" because I believe that there is beauty in everyone and everything and I don't always act on that belief. Just because something or someone isn't what I am used to, doesn't mean that it doesn't have something beautiful that I can learn from and appreciate.

I am still trying to settle on my word for this year. But I do know that through this year I want to do a lot of pausing and soaking in of my small ones. Enjoy the phase that they are in and TRY and let all the other STUFF just fall to the side. This is a BIG challenge for me!!

I'm either going with Savor or Notice. It's my goal to really take in these last two years with my girls before they are off to college. I've stopped with the story telling and the picture taking...for no particular reason. My action is to restart that and blog/scrap all about it!
