Sponsor Giveaways : Studio Calico, Memory Works, Lisa Leonard, & Designer Digitals

Three people will win the entire Home Front collection (papers, stickets, journaling cards, and FabRips) from Studio Calico.
The concept of Studio Calico began long before it was a reality. In 2000, while working at a local scrapbook store, April developed an appreciation for innovative supplies along with a respect for preserving memories. Thus, the concept of combining fresh products with non-traditional scrapbook supplies emerged.
At Studio Calico, we hope to encourage the creative process by providing the best supplies on the market as well as a community that is supportive every step of the way.
In the past 2 years we've grown from an idea, to a small boutique of sorts, to manufacturing our own products. As we've grown, we've stayed true to the basics, while looking to the future.

Three people will receive the lovely Word Of The Year necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs.
In addition Lisa is offering a discount for readers. Enter "myword15" for 15% off your purchase.

OOO pick me! I love everything there!
My word is procrastination. I want to eliminate that word from my vocabulary. My procrastination has gotten worse over the years. I need to take it in control and get focused on one task at a time!

My word is for this year is SIMPLY. Last year I found myself easily overwhelmed by lack of time, lack of space and too much going on, so I began 2010 SIMPLY, by sorting through the closet and my desk, getting rid of things and simplifying my systems. I hope this year I can find the beauty of simplicity through my scrapbooking, eating, teaching and my overall approach to life.

My word for this year is "reveal". It's time to stop hiding and let my true self out. I've endured 3 tragedies in 2009 and I have started an art journal to help process the thoughts and feelings I have that I can't seem to get out any other way. You have inspired me so much lately Ali, thank you!

Great giveaways...thanks for the chance to win!
The action I'm doing with my word choice is prayer. I've been thinking about what my word will be and haven't been able to really narrow it down yet, so I'm praying about it to see which is best for me to focus on...

I'm not 100% sure what my word will be yet, but it has to do with my time. I want to manage, organize and make better use of my time. Try not to waste it. Get my work (house and job work) done quicker and more efficently so that I have more time for play (computer, scrapbooking, photos, reading etc). I want to find a balance.

I do not have a word of the year but as to my resolution/goal, I am making time to make cards to participate in the card challenges more consistently, and it's working out fine so far.

I am going to do a photo-a-day project this year! My word is plan...I'm more of a "fly by the seat of your pants" girl, so planning is not my strength and I feel like a lot of opportunities pass me by because I don't plan.

Ali,
My word for 2010 is MAINTAIN. I'm notorious for "when the going gets tough, I get going", and it's the single most frustrating thing to me because I never get anywhere; I never progress. So this year I am going to maintain many things: my health, my hobbies, my household, my relationships and what I do for a living. It's asking a lot of me, I was never taught to work hard, but now the hard work is something I really don't mind. I figure, the more I stretch myself in uncomfortable ways, the more I have to gain. Also, I can't quit. That's a rule! So 2010 is going to be a pivotal start to the rest of my life. A new year, a new decade, a new paradigm.

My word of the year is RELATIONSHIPS. My resolution is to keep in contact with family and friends not through email/texts but in a more personal way with phone calls, letters, cards, etc. I don't want another year to go by without keeping close to those I love most!
