Sponsor Giveaways : Studio Calico, Memory Works, Lisa Leonard, & Designer Digitals

Three people will win the entire Home Front collection (papers, stickets, journaling cards, and FabRips) from Studio Calico.
The concept of Studio Calico began long before it was a reality. In 2000, while working at a local scrapbook store, April developed an appreciation for innovative supplies along with a respect for preserving memories. Thus, the concept of combining fresh products with non-traditional scrapbook supplies emerged.
At Studio Calico, we hope to encourage the creative process by providing the best supplies on the market as well as a community that is supportive every step of the way.
In the past 2 years we've grown from an idea, to a small boutique of sorts, to manufacturing our own products. As we've grown, we've stayed true to the basics, while looking to the future.

Three people will receive the lovely Word Of The Year necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs.
In addition Lisa is offering a discount for readers. Enter "myword15" for 15% off your purchase.

Simplify - I'm going to get rid of excess in my life: clutter, unkind feelings, busy things that I don't need to do... I'm taking baby steps!

I am going to try to SLOW DOWN in order to be in a place of "clarity" (which is my word for 2010). I find that if I alow myself to stop trying to complete 10 things at once, if I slow down long enough to savour my environment and experiences, I have clarity...I am in the moment. I also tend to create more when I am in that place ~ which seems to make everyting better!

I think my word for the year is going to be chill! There are so many things that I get worked up about and it is unnecessary on so many levels. Thank you for the amazing giveaways.

My word is STOP. Which works in sooo many areas of my life: stop procrastinating, stop over-eating, etc. on and on. So far I'm handling it by being BUSY. Telling myself "Do IT Now!" So far, so good.

My word this year is intention. I am just beginning to grasp this word, but it is my intention to commit more fully to whatever I am doing. To get to a place of purpose. Thanks Ali!

My one little word for this new year is CREATE and one of my resolutions is to create organization (and control clutter) so yesterday I started off the new year by a mini-extreme home makeover "studio edition" by cleaning out and organizing my craft room. There's still work to be done but I feel good that I started and can see results already!

My word is Family. This is going to be the first calendar year that we are all together as a complete family since 2006. I'm embarking on a 365 project focused on family and I am hoping that by the end of the year, I will have 365 stories for 2010.
Happy New Year Ali and friends! Best of wishes for the coming year.

I'm still trying to determine my word for the year - I'm considering FOCUS... I tend to let too many distractions interrupt me (internet!) but I'd also like to spend more QUALITY time with my kids.

My word is today, so I'm working on dealing with each day for that day & not worrying about the past or future. I plan on making some kind of sign w/ my word on it to hang by desk & another in my scrap area.

My word is 'believe'. I am keeping my self-talk in check making sure that it is positive. It makes no sense for me to have goals if i don't truly believe in them. Thanks for the inspiration!

My word of the year 2010 will be RELAX. After 2 burn outs, in a 5 years and i am now 28, it has been enough. This year i will take it slow, and not letting my thoughts overrule.

I haven't decided on a word yet, but it is constantly on my mind. I am inspired by your word "story" and am making a list of stories that I want to share in my little boy's scrapbook.

My word for 2010 is "try". I am a teacher and am in the process of buying my first house. My sister is teaching me the basics of scrapbooking this year. I just started reading your blog last week and already am inspired! Laurie

My word is relax and I am posting it on all mirrors and have a frame with my word hung in it as well. I am very hihg strung and have a heard time saying NO to people. I will be saying no more this year and trying to "relax" and spend more time at home. I feel like I am paying a house payment just to keep my belongings dry cause I am never here to enjoy them! Thanks for the cool giveaway!!

Hi Ali
My word is SIMPLE.
In a crazy life that seemed to be becoming filled with excess, not just stuff, but also excess in over-thinking, over-doing, over-procrastinating, over-everything, my need is to be and do things in a far more simple - and meaningful - way.
Simple!
So, I've committed to using craft supplies I already have instead of buying more goodies to become excess. And I've bagged up some clothes after sorting through what I have and don't wear and am taking it all to charity. So far, so good.
Regards,
Sue

This is my first year picking a word...nurture. As I am expecting our first child, a boy, I thought this word appropriate. I want to be a good mommy to this little guy and raise him in a nurturing and kind way. Thanks for the great give aways Ali!
