Sponsor Giveaways : Studio Calico, Memory Works, Lisa Leonard, & Designer Digitals

Three people will win the entire Home Front collection (papers, stickets, journaling cards, and FabRips) from Studio Calico.
The concept of Studio Calico began long before it was a reality. In 2000, while working at a local scrapbook store, April developed an appreciation for innovative supplies along with a respect for preserving memories. Thus, the concept of combining fresh products with non-traditional scrapbook supplies emerged.
At Studio Calico, we hope to encourage the creative process by providing the best supplies on the market as well as a community that is supportive every step of the way.
In the past 2 years we've grown from an idea, to a small boutique of sorts, to manufacturing our own products. As we've grown, we've stayed true to the basics, while looking to the future.

Three people will receive the lovely Word Of The Year necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs.
In addition Lisa is offering a discount for readers. Enter "myword15" for 15% off your purchase.

One person will receive the Life Documented kit from the new Simple Stories collection by MemoryWorks.

My word for this year is serenity. I'm working right now, this weekend to get my house clean and all freshly organized so when we all go back to school + work on Monday I'll be ready. I don't have a word. I know. What I have is a goal. My last goal was to be married by the end of 2009. A HUGE accomplishment since I was engaged for almost 8 years. My new goal is to spend more time with my husband. He's been very patient as I work 6 days a week, at least 10 hours a day. So there you have it.

My word is "create." Create more fun for my kids, create more family time, create scrapbook pages, create art with my photography (new business!), create memories and create new traditions! I love the word "create" because to me, it implies a take charge attitude, with a touch of whimsy! :)

My word is 'awaken.'
Yesterday (Friday) I prepared a blank journal in which to write every day. On the first page is a little collage of several different kinds of letter stickers, all spelling the word awaken. I wrote extensively in my journal yesterday and will do so again tonight. I'm using the downloaded guide you recommended on your blog to guide my writing. I'm keeping the word in mind all day, too, so I can awaken to the potential in each moment.

Hi Ali,
My word of the year is organise. Every Friday I will be going through my paperwork, filing, emptying my purse of those receipts and copying my 365 photos onto the computer and edit/sorting and printing them accordingly.

My word is Reduce. My first action point was to choose a room/area of the house each month to focus on clearing out and decluttering. But knowing me, I need to see a record of what I've done (I cannot delete things from my lists, I have to check them off so I can see what's been accomplished), so I started a journal - writing a little each day of what I've done toward all my REDUCE goals. I can record my weight, whether or not I've exercised, my accomplishments toward the decluttering, where I've reduced stress, and when I've said "no" to another volunteer activity.

My goal is to get caught up on a scrapbooking spinner that has been taking a back seat to card making/publications. This is a super duper bunch of prizes.

The action I'm taking is to be happier.
For the last few days I've tried to think happy & positive thoughts when I felt a bit glum and my mood wasn't the best. It's wonderful. After all, what makes us happy is not money, dreamy job, new clothes, chocolate or a fancy car. What makes us really, really happy is after all - us.
So I'm working on that :).
Thank you for the giveaways, and for your inspiring blog :).

My word this year is Grow. I want to grow in my crafts, I want to grow as a parent, I want to grow as an individual, I want to grow in the relationship with my husband. My action is to journal once a week about the things I have done or experienced that are helping me along this path.

Mine is balance. Making time for all aspects of my life. Letting go of the unhappy past. Leaving room for a bright future. Being positive. Staying on course.

Ali,
I am still thinking of my word for the year. I am going to use the Christine Kane exercise to help me narrow it down.
Thanks for the inspiration.
