Sponsor Giveaways : Studio Calico, Memory Works, Lisa Leonard, & Designer Digitals

Three people will win the entire Home Front collection (papers, stickets, journaling cards, and FabRips) from Studio Calico.
The concept of Studio Calico began long before it was a reality. In 2000, while working at a local scrapbook store, April developed an appreciation for innovative supplies along with a respect for preserving memories. Thus, the concept of combining fresh products with non-traditional scrapbook supplies emerged.
At Studio Calico, we hope to encourage the creative process by providing the best supplies on the market as well as a community that is supportive every step of the way.
In the past 2 years we've grown from an idea, to a small boutique of sorts, to manufacturing our own products. As we've grown, we've stayed true to the basics, while looking to the future.

Three people will receive the lovely Word Of The Year necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs.
In addition Lisa is offering a discount for readers. Enter "myword15" for 15% off your purchase.

One person will receive the Life Documented kit from the new Simple Stories collection by MemoryWorks.

My word is ORGANIZE. I have started by cataloging my books and DVD's (I tend to buy duplicates). I am going to go through my Christmas stuff and re-organize my ornaments to make it easier for my hysband to pull them out every year. I've got a great idea for a way to make choosing what I want easier.
Happy New Year and I enjoy your blog...
What kind of printer do you use? I love the variety of sizes and they look terrific.

For 2010, my one little word is CREATE. I love the quote "Life is not about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself." I really think that I need to look deep down inside of me and think about who I wish to create this year. What kind of person do I wish to be? What creative pursuits to I want to take on? What goals do I want to meet? Anything is possible if you believe. I can create my own destiny!
Thanks for these amazing giveaways and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! :)

I am starting a new year's tradition for documenting my life and actually being alive to experience it. I bought an empty scrapbook and titled it "52 weekends" and in it, I'm going to collect haphazardly the details of the weekends this year. I already started with this one. I can't wait for the adventures to come :) (Plus, I'm planning a wedding, which will add to the fun.)

My word is definitely going to be "FINISHED." I'm determined this year to be finished with my projects instead of being "in progress."

My one little word is Connect, and it's many faceted. My action plan? To make an effort to re-connect with old friends, to send random cards and emails and gifts 'just because' I'm thinking of someone or wanting to encourage someone, to make time to call family and friends and to visit with people whenever I get the chance. I plan to make sure I leave a comment every time I visit someones blog - no stealth visit! To connect in as many ways as possible and enrich my life and others this year...

My word for this year is SIMPLE. I want to keep life simple this year. I have cleaned out 1 room yesterday. Finally gave out all the baby clothes, crib, and toys after 4 years of hoping for another baby. I cleared out the closet and donated a ton of stuff to Goodwill today. Feels really good. Hoping to go through all the rooms by January.

I start every morning with prayer, so I'll be adding a little extra prayer to help me remember my word each day, and to find ways to implement it.

Completely LOVELY giveaways! Thank you for the opportunity!
I actually haven't decided on a word for the year, or if I'm going to have a word for the year - but, this is the first year that I've ever actually considered it. It was never something that struck a chord with me, but for the first time, it really does. Maybe it's that I'm doing my best to love and nurture my young family or maybe its that for the first time in a few years I'm not pregnant, nursing or managing an infant. I feel like I have a bit more attention that needs to be paid in the right direction - still figuring out what direction that will be...

My word for the year is persistence ... I have been going to school for the last 4 years to begin a new career at a very late age. I have just completed my final student teaching and will be receiving my teaching credential this next month ... all of this at the age of almost 57! My persistence at this juncture is to now take time to follow up on all of the many tasks that needed to be done but placed on the back burner while attending the university. I need to finsih unpacking from moving in (5 years ago), paint (the house has not been painted for almost 30 years), organize and catalog the boxes of old family photos that I have received from my father after my mother passing. So what have I done to work towards this word of persistence? I have be working a little each day on the family photos and have unpacked 2 boxes (some items I have chosen to give away to charity and other things have been placed in their proper places and will now be available to use.

My word this year is DO. I need to DO lots of things instead of think about them, procrastinate them, ignore them. So far this year I am DOing them! Everyday, however small . . . or large as the past two days have been, I'm DOing the things I need to be and feeling GREAT about it too!
