Sponsor Giveaways : Studio Calico, Memory Works, Lisa Leonard, & Designer Digitals

Three people will win the entire Home Front collection (papers, stickets, journaling cards, and FabRips) from Studio Calico.
The concept of Studio Calico began long before it was a reality. In 2000, while working at a local scrapbook store, April developed an appreciation for innovative supplies along with a respect for preserving memories. Thus, the concept of combining fresh products with non-traditional scrapbook supplies emerged.
At Studio Calico, we hope to encourage the creative process by providing the best supplies on the market as well as a community that is supportive every step of the way.
In the past 2 years we've grown from an idea, to a small boutique of sorts, to manufacturing our own products. As we've grown, we've stayed true to the basics, while looking to the future.

Three people will receive the lovely Word Of The Year necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs.
In addition Lisa is offering a discount for readers. Enter "myword15" for 15% off your purchase.

One person will receive the Life Documented kit from the new Simple Stories collection by MemoryWorks.
Your photos and memories are far too important to keep in a box, store on a computer or bury in a pile. We know life is busy and at times it feels nearly impossible to keep up with all of life's demands - yet alone find time for the things you enjoy like your scrapbook hobby and preserving your memories.
If you're overwhelmed with too many photos...
If you're feeling guilty for not being "caught up"...
If you're overloaded with creative pressure and unrealistic expectations...

Our Life Documented kit allows you to share your story in a whole new way, while getting back to the basics of what scrapbooking is all about...your photos and memories. We've done all the work for you with our exclusive Simple Stories system - with beautiful pre-designed elements that you simply trim, add your journaling and then insert into pockets - along with your 4x6 photos - for quick and easy scrapbooking. No cropping. No adhesive. No stress. It's as easy as that - sharing your photos and memories has never been easier!

Organize is my word -- organizing ourselves while building a new home, organizing in order to sell our current one, organizing for a new baby in June, organizing new spaces, organizing a new work schedule, organizing a new routine in our home -- lot of organization in 2010!

Still thinking on my word, but I definitely want to put myself first much more often. Not in a selfish sort of way, but in a healthy way.

My word for the year is SiMPLIFY. We just sold our house and are downsizing (from 5800 sq ft to 3800 sq ft). i hope to simplify all we do ----- to keep what is essential and let go of the excess ----- in our stuff, our activities, our commitments, our purchases.

My favorite word for twenty ten is "TREASURE". LOOVE that word. It pretty much sums up everything about life! We all fall into hard times every now and then and I think that "treasure" is the most fitting word for 2010! joeygirl

I will feel CONTENTMENT this year. We recently had a near death experience in our family and are blessed with the miracle that was given to us. This has made us realize the importance of being content with what we have and who we are at this time in our lives.

I chose the word "action" for this year. There are so many big dreams and goals that I want to make happen this year- but no one is going to do it for me! I am going to take action and accomplish these things myself. To help keep track of my word, I've decorated a cover for an art journal that I plan on updating throughout the year with thoughts about the actions I'm taking, goals I'm pursuing, etc. :)

My word of the year isn't very unique, but truly fitting for me an my family at this point in our lives. My word is Simplify.
We are doing what we can to simplify our lives.
We recycle and conserve energy; therefore reducing our carbon footprint.
We are purging and donating 75% of our belongings to needy families.
We are only bringing something new into our home if something 'old' leaves our home.
We have started spending more quality time together as a family, reading together, playing games and doing puzzles.
The food I cook is simple and delicious, using only fresh locally grown produce.
We are really looking for a more simple life. I believe by living that way, we will all be alot happier.
So, SIMPLIFY is exactly what we are doing.
Happy New Year

My word is self-discipline-- with different areas of my life: keeping myself healthy with exercising and eating right, having quiet times, keeping on top of my home, and many others. Even though it's only January 3, I'm already off to a good start and am hopeful that it will continue :) Thank you for great giveaways and Happy New Year!

My word is PRAY. As busy as life gets I must take some time daily to stop, reflect & pray. Even if it's just a few minutes of quiet...I will make it happen.
Happy New Year Ali! Thanks for your continued inspiration...

My word for the year is "RETRY." Some things in my life did not work out in 2009 and so 2010 is the year to RETRY and to attempt what appeared impossible in 2009 - that includes the reevaluation and groundwork that was perhaps missing last year. I believe that 2010 will be the year where I get the result I want while enjoying the process to get to the end.

My word is Health. I joined Weight Watchers on December 30. I would like to expand my thinking on health. Although weight is an important part for me I believe there are many more important pieces to staying healthy. Exercise of course, flossing, getting enough sleep... I am continuing to brainstorm. Having the word is a great motivator for me. Health.

My word is PAUSE. I am going to take moment (or several) to pause before I think, say or do anything. Tim Holtz had a great quote on his blog, "Learn to pause or nothing worthwhile will catch up to you." Loved it!
