Sponsor Giveaways : Studio Calico, Memory Works, Lisa Leonard, & Designer Digitals

Three people will win the entire Home Front collection (papers, stickets, journaling cards, and FabRips) from Studio Calico.
The concept of Studio Calico began long before it was a reality. In 2000, while working at a local scrapbook store, April developed an appreciation for innovative supplies along with a respect for preserving memories. Thus, the concept of combining fresh products with non-traditional scrapbook supplies emerged.
At Studio Calico, we hope to encourage the creative process by providing the best supplies on the market as well as a community that is supportive every step of the way.
In the past 2 years we've grown from an idea, to a small boutique of sorts, to manufacturing our own products. As we've grown, we've stayed true to the basics, while looking to the future.

Three people will receive the lovely Word Of The Year necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs.
In addition Lisa is offering a discount for readers. Enter "myword15" for 15% off your purchase.

One person will receive the Life Documented kit from the new Simple Stories collection by MemoryWorks.
Your photos and memories are far too important to keep in a box, store on a computer or bury in a pile. We know life is busy and at times it feels nearly impossible to keep up with all of life's demands - yet alone find time for the things you enjoy like your scrapbook hobby and preserving your memories.
If you're overwhelmed with too many photos...
If you're feeling guilty for not being "caught up"...
If you're overloaded with creative pressure and unrealistic expectations...
If you're stressed because you don't have enough time to scrapbook...
If you don't know where to start...or worried if you can even keep up...
If you're frustrated with the process of traditional scrapbooking...
If you're looking for a better way...
Then you will love our simple and refreshing approach to scrapbooking!
MemoryWorks is beyond thrilled to introduce the new, exclusive Simple Stories scrapbook system. You can view our video here. Our innovative system was designed for scrapbookers of all levels who want to share their life stories and memories in a simple, yet meaningful, way - but without the time, guilt or stress of traditional scrapbooking.

Our Life Documented kit allows you to share your story in a whole new way, while getting back to the basics of what scrapbooking is all about...your photos and memories. We've done all the work for you with our exclusive Simple Stories system - with beautiful pre-designed elements that you simply trim, add your journaling and then insert into pockets - along with your 4x6 photos - for quick and easy scrapbooking. No cropping. No adhesive. No stress. It's as easy as that - sharing your photos and memories has never been easier!

Hi Ali, My word of 2010 is TODAY. I aim to focus on making TODAY the best possible day. I thought long and hard about all my goals for this year (and I have several: financial, health, spiritual, family, scrapbooking) and they all are going to be accomplished one day at a time. That is why I chose TODAY as my word. TODAY my actions towards my goals were as follows: recorded my spending, cleaned my closet, had a family lunch, and spend time organizing my Christmas pictures. Thanks for the giveaway. you have some great prizes (as always).

I haven't decided on a word yet, but as far as resolutions, I am determined to loose these last 10 pounds of baby weigh before even thinking of having another one, so I will be getting up early every day to spend some time on the eliptical. (That is so easy to say, if only it were as easy to do). :o) Great giveaways.

My word is "give" - my family is so beyond blessed and I feel we don't give enough of ourselves or our resources...so I am making it a monthly goal to sit down each month and plan to give at least one day of our time and some sort of monetary donation we decide on as a family. Pray it works!

I am still thinking about a word....something to do with health, wellness, and excitement...all mixed up into one word. I am going to use the tool link you suggested.

My word is FAITH. I'm turning over all my troubles to God and letting him take over. I haven't done so well on my own. I'm going through a divorce (with 3 children that have Muscular Dystrophy) and it has been far from easy on all of us. I have FAITH in our Lord to show me the right paths to take this year (and all the years ahead).

My word for this year is going to be "live". I am choosing this because I have 3 young children and I want to live for all of them, for myself, and for my husband. I want to live life not just watch it pass by.

My word is RETHINK. Now that my kids are older, college and middle school, it is time to REthink the day to day. I bought a daily planner for scheduals and a place for them to help with dinner plans!

My word of the year is finished because I want to be finished with my dissertation this year and finished with a number of unfinished projects. It hasn't been enough to resolve to finish these projects in the past, so I have chosen the past tense version of the word to hopefully visualize them actually done rather than the process of getting them done. My action today was to set a timer and spend one hour on one unfinished project to get it closer to "finished"!

My goal for the year is to "focus" on me. Like many others, I spend so much time giving to my children, husband, friends, workers, etc., that when it comes time for me, there's no energy or time left. This year, I plan to focus on my needs without feeling guilty about taking care of me.

I decided to try the 365 project this year. With an iPhone it makes it so easy to take a relatively good picture every single day! Thanks for the giveaway, and I'm excited that you will be posting a layout a week!

My word is Adventure. We are expecting a baby and we have lots of changes ahead. Instead of focusing on the stresses of those changes, the word adventure is helping me focus on the positive.

My one little word 2010 is LIGHT. I need to be positive... need to see the good... need to do better at seeking spiritual light... need to get out and exercise in the sunLIGHT... all that good stuff. I love the Word of the Year Discovery Tool. My ACTION today will be to think through and document my answers. That document is a great way to think clearly and focus on the change I want to make this year in my life.

I'm still tossing around a few words for 2010, but the one I keep coming back to is PLAN. I think it will help me to accomplish a lot of things I have on my plate...

mine is not a word but a phrase "to get back on track". many changes in my life happened in 2009 that got me off track a lot. my goal this year is to get back to where I was and to enjoy life and not let it pass me by.
