Although going back to school for myself was not the happiest time, but since I have had kids...I have changed my mind. I love hearing the excitement their voices as we go shopping for their new school supplies and clothes. The excitement I hear coming from them makes my excitement grow. I love seeing their faces when they meet their teachers for that year. They love picking out their school supplies (especially their new backpacks).

I loved art class! I had an art teacher in 4th and 5th grade that taught us the principles of design and the Fibonacci sequence and really inspired my love of art and graphics!

I loved school supplies and literature class. It was wonderful to share Shakespeare and Austen with people who loved it as much as me.

I loved school in general - so much that I became a teacher. Sounds corny but I love learning.

Well, I always loved buying school supplies (I'm totally obsessed with office supplies now) but I also loved cheerleading when I was in high school.

I loved blank paper. Whether it was lined, colored, or plain it just felt good to have it in front of me with something sharp to put something on it.

Favorite part of elementary school was reading in front of the class, but most especially writing on the chalk board! In High School it was all about the art classes, most favorite was a three dimensional design class! I miss school actually :)

I loved learning something new - a whole new world would open up! I liked new textbooks, one that no one had written in or used. And I really liked writing reports, researching at the library using the card file, taking notes on 3x5 cards, creating the cover drawing, all the steps towards a perfect report to present in front of the class. Ahhh - before the Internet!

I loved buying school lunches instead of brown bagging it. I always thought it was a treat.
