For the very first time since being a grown-up, I am taking a full two weeks off to match my kids school vacation... I am so looking for the time to catch our breath after a very eventful year that included a new job and a big move... Looking forward to "just stay put!"

I look forward to so many things that it's difficult to pick just one. But all of the traditions I can't wait to participate in boil down to time spent with those that I love. It's like magic.

Thanksgiving and Christmas time are such special holidays as they give us a reason to pause and reflect on the blessings in our lives; a time to be renewed in our commitment to family and not get distracted from our priorities in life. In the busyness of life, I so look forward to these times to spend together time with family!!

I'm looking forward to special family times, such as when my sisters and their families are all home for Thanksgiving, and the reflective times by the fire during the Christmas season.

The thing(s) I look forward to the most are any of the traditions that my children insist on doing. It gives me a lump in my throat when they insist on something that has become important to them. It means all the time and love I have put into making the holidays special for them has paid off...such as going to cut a tree down together and singing carols in the car on the way home......
Thanks for the great giveaways and inspiration!
