GIVEAWAY | Three people will receive spots in Mary Ann Moss's online class Remains Of The Day.
Remains Of The Day is the antidote for all of those paper scraps that keep multiplying in your favorite scrap box and clogging up your artistic super highway. In this process AND project oriented class we’ll be constructing a shabby but sturdy journal (like this one) using all of that paper you’ve been hoarding. Ordinary life never looked better than seen through the pages of this stitched up journal of scraps.

The biggest thing I do for spring cleaning is open all the windows so the fresh air can start getting all the germs out. Then I take all the blinds down and hose them down outside. I actually do this at least twice a year. I hate cleaning so I just do it the fastest way possible.
Thanks for the chance to win!

Years ago I decided that less is better so I try not to have so much "stuff" displayed. I hate dust so when spring comes I dust everything, move all my furniture and vacuum under everything. I open all the windows and air everything out. Love your journal and blog.

I procrastinate but always am so glad when the windows are freshly polished! And then totally surprised at how quickly they get dirty again. Thanks for sharing this giveaway - I have lots of scraps that would love a home in a new project.

Spring cleaning...a little each day and you won't have to Sping Clean...it'll be clean continuously! Oh...and please pull out the stove and fridge every other month.

Spring cleaning tip: I have three boxes in whatever room I'm cleaning in - yard sale, donate, and put in it's right place.

I would absolutely love to take Mary Anne's class! It's been on my to-do list forever. I hate spring cleaning, so my best tip is to have plenty of good music to listen to while you're doing it to help it go faster.

Favorite cleaning tip: get rid of your stuff. Or just a whole lot of it. A room looks so much nicer with less, but more personal and intentional, stuff.

Especially in spring I like to use lemons. Love the smell so I clean my microwave, garbage disposal, etc with lemons.

My favorite spring cleaning tip is to add the long attachments to my vacuum cleaner and vacuum any dust off the curtains, curtain rods and window sills. Next up is to use the same attachments on my baseboards.

Open up the windows and wash the panes. It changes your whole perspective coming home and looking out.

Spring cleaning tip, play more time outside and you won't notice what needs to be cleaned:) I like to hang all my area rugs out in the sun and give them a good beating to get rid of the winter mess. This class would help me clean up some paper and put it to good use.

Some good music playing and the mindset to get on and do it, one room at a time!

Nothing makes a house more welcoming then a wonderful scent! So, here is my tip. After cleaning house boil some cinnamon in water for a few minutes. It smells so wonderful and is a really great last touch to a deep cleaning.

oh i really have been drooling over this one!! my biggest tip is too simple: i try to clean as i go along as much as possible and I have one dedicated clutter space. all of it accumulates there and i clean that one spot weekly.

Yikes. I'm terrible about spring cleaning BUT my tip is to just break it down into pieces so its not overwhelming!

Umm, besides getting someone else to do it for me?? My best tip is slow and steady wins the race, don't try to do it all at once or you'll burn out, oh, and vinegar for streakless windows! Thanks for the chance at a fabulous class.

I like to use my garment steamer to clean the walls and floors, upholstery, clothing (of course), window frames (as long as the material would allow such intense heat w/o damage), and even do a quick once over on the kids' toys. We even used it to take wallpaper off. There is so much left behind even after a solvent based scrub, and the steam loosens the remaining grit/solvent leaving it thoroughly cleaned. So, my tip would be to invest in a garment steamer, full sized, or hand held. It is most definitely a wise investment.
