If you'd like to learn more about my site check out my Welcome or About Ali pages.
Here's a look at a stamp I love from the new catalog and the one I'm using in my layout today:
Hello zig zag!
I decided to do a page that highlights some of the things I love about Anna right now.
Here's a look at my process:
I used the new Hero Arts Zig Zag stamp to create a pattern on my white cardstock with Jenni Bowlin Chewing Gum and Malted Milk inks. I didn't stress about making it perfect because I knew I would be adding content on top.
I started by adding a sticker border (Sassafras for Studio Calico) along the bottom - popping it up with foam dots.
I knew I wanted the title to read "Things I love" and I hoped it would fit in that space. Chipboard letters are American Crafts Goodness by Amy Tangerine.
Photo is 4x6 and was printed with a white border.
And yes, another one of those wood flags is popping up here. I love those things.
"Beautiful" is from a set of GCD Studios Melody Ross Soul Food Collection Chipboard Stickers.
For the journaling I used one of my Awakening 4x6 overlays. I opened it in Photoshop, added my text and printed on cardstock.
Along the bottom of the overlay I added a bit of washi tape (I think that came in a Studio Calico kit), her initials in those great little Lily Bee alphabet letter stickers, and an old metal arrow (I think from 7gypsies). Love those arrows. Someone should make those again.

Great layout - love the zigzag as well! My favourite holiday tradition is sitting in living room in the dark before anyone else is up, with just the Christmas tree lights on and enjoying the quite and a cup of coffee.

My favorite tradition is having dinner at my sister's house on Christmas Eve. Besides having a great meal and fun with her family, by this point I have everything finished for the next day and I can really relax!

What a delightful page, and that stamp is awesome. I can see lots of potential in that one. Holiday tradition? My nephew setting up my Christmas train. Had to do without it for a few years while he served our country.

We celebrate Christmas over the New Years weekend which gives our sons the time to spend with their girlfriends and families. That way no on is rushing around, we spend the day together with snacky foods, playing games and usually watching football! My father as well as my brother and family also attend. Lots of laughter!
Beautiful page. Love the techniques. I am not a scrapbooker so always in awe of the pages people create. Hope to scrapbook when we have grandchildren.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, techniqes and project!

I have so many holiday traditions, it's hard to pick just one. I do love our family photos in front of the tree on Christmas Eve. It's fun to look back and see our kids when they were little. All grown up now (and with a myriad of boyfriends & girlfriends).

LOVE the layout and how you used the stamp for the background! My favorite holiday tradition is going skiing at Lake Tahoe. It doesn't snow where I live, so the closest place to go is there. We go every single year. Thank you so much for the chance to win!

Love that zig zag stamp! My favoriate holiday tradition is going with my husband's family to cut down our christmas tree. The kids take a wagon ride with Santa and we usually end up stopping for lunch on the way back home. Some years there is a lot of snow on the ground and other years it still feels like fall. So much fun!

Fun stamps!!! My favorite holiday tradition is listening to my husband read "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" to our children! He has it memorized and looks forward to this every year. And decorating the house is my second.

Oh, my holiday tradition has something to do with work but I love it none the less! I've been teaching for a couple of years and it's a wonder how the kids react when we read The Gift of the Magi by O.Henry together. I have to fight with tears each and every time!
Thank you again for all the chances to win, Ali!

My favorite tradition is Christmas Jammies and the kids exchange gifts. I made them special cloth bags to reuse every year so they're really special. Peppermint Fudge is pretty awesome too! ;-)
