If you'd like to learn more about my site check out my Welcome or About Ali pages.
Here's a look at a stamp I love from the new catalog and the one I'm using in my layout today:
Hello zig zag!
I decided to do a page that highlights some of the things I love about Anna right now.
Here's a look at my process:
I used the new Hero Arts Zig Zag stamp to create a pattern on my white cardstock with Jenni Bowlin Chewing Gum and Malted Milk inks. I didn't stress about making it perfect because I knew I would be adding content on top.
I started by adding a sticker border (Sassafras for Studio Calico) along the bottom - popping it up with foam dots.
I knew I wanted the title to read "Things I love" and I hoped it would fit in that space. Chipboard letters are American Crafts Goodness by Amy Tangerine.
Photo is 4x6 and was printed with a white border.
And yes, another one of those wood flags is popping up here. I love those things.
"Beautiful" is from a set of GCD Studios Melody Ross Soul Food Collection Chipboard Stickers.
For the journaling I used one of my Awakening 4x6 overlays. I opened it in Photoshop, added my text and printed on cardstock.
Along the bottom of the overlay I added a bit of washi tape (I think that came in a Studio Calico kit), her initials in those great little Lily Bee alphabet letter stickers, and an old metal arrow (I think from 7gypsies). Love those arrows. Someone should make those again.

My favorite holiday tradition is driving around looking at Christmas lights. We turn on Christmas music, drink hot cocoa, and chat as we look at the twinkling magic. I remember snuggling up with my blanket & dolly when I was small. Now my husband & I share the same tradition with my mom & my son!

My favorite tradition is wrapping presents. Usually because it means that Christmas is getting closer and I am wrapping up in the preparations. LOVE that point when it is all coming together. Love the background you made, thanks for the chance to win!

Love your layout and how you used the stamp. My favourite holiday tradition is taking the kiddos to the Christmas Tree farm and picking our tree. The kids run through the rows of trees until they find the "right" one. We have hot chocolate with marshmallows, gingerbread cookies and just enjoy the snow.

Cute!! My favorite tradition is baking and the making of our Gingerbread houses! I love how different they are every year as the kids get older and more interested in the creative part then they are in eating all the candy :)

One favorite tradition is acting out the Luke 2 story of Mary and Joseph. We do it in a number of different ways - one time in a barn with a manger (unfortunately, the barn was so clean I could eat off the floor!). Another favorite memory is our 4 yr old grandson being Joseph and knocking on the door of the "inn". I answered and said "no room" and he responded, "there's always room for you Grandma."

As I cannot bake, I have a friend who comes over every year to make a gingerbread house with DD. It always makes us all happy and look forward to another holiday season!

Every Christmas eve my hubby reads The Night Before Christmas to my daughter. It's such a sweet tradition. Your layout is just lovely. I love that photo and the layout really highlights it. Thanks.

I love the zig zag design and Miss Anna is looking so cute and way to big. Can't believe she will be 2 in two months. Love the layout and favorites of her.
My favorite tradition is listening to holiday music with all the lights off and laying by the tree with the kids and other times just by myself. There is always something magical in those twinkling Christmas lights.

WOw, love those stamps & your layout Ali! :) One of my favorite holiday traditions is going to chop down our tree during the weekend after Thanksgiving! We always had a fake tree growing up, so I love creating this new tradition for our family, it's always a great kick off to the Christmas season!
