My heart is week...I remember how sick she was, and often thought about how she was doing once you told us in 2011 she was better but you didn't know for how long. They are the MOST thoughtful, genuine companions you could EVER ask for. My heart just aches for you all, I will SO miss your posts and seeing her in the background or laying right by your desk. With sympathy!!!

I'm sorry for your loss, Ali. Losing a family pet is like losing a family member. I remember when my mom had to put our dog to sleep. I cried for days. That was about 15-16 years ago and I still think of her. {{hugs}} to you and your children during this difficult time.

This post brought me to tears as it is hitting so close to home. We have a 13 yr. old lab who is struggling and we are also "struggling" with the decision we may soon have to make. Just wishing God would make this one for us. So sorry for your loss, so hard on the little ones who have known a pet as part of the family for their whole lives. Thinking of you!
