I'm sorry for your loss Ali. I'm glad that Lily was there for you during a difficult time...I do believe animals are tuned into us more than we know sometimes. So glad she was able to enjoy the beach one last time. My thoughts are with all of you. RIP Lily.

ali, i am so sorry to read of the passing of lily. we lost our golden, benny this past fall. it broke all of our hearts. i still think of him everyday with a tear in my eye. a friend sent me a copy of the poem, the rainbow bridge, i bawled my eyes out but i hope it is true. wishing you peace.

I don't doubt that Lily did stay to help you through some difficult times...dogs are so perceptive. Especially a lab, I'm sure all she wanted to do was please you. You and your kids must be heartbroken. They are very important members of our families, and it's hard when they're gone. Wishing you the best.

Almost a month ago our constant companion of 16 years, Beethoven (a dauschand-basset hound mix), passed away. He lived with Heather and I longer than the kids are old and has always been in the kids lives. Although it doesn't make ti any easier, We knew this time was approaching. We could not have asked for a better friend.

Ali, I'm so sorry. Dogs like Lily are really family members, and when they are gone, we miss them so very much. I'm so happy you had her in your life and have so many wonderful memories of her time with you.
