Dear Lovely Readers,
It's summer here and it's awesome.
I'll be taking the next week-or-so off to enjoy some uninterrupted time with my kids and family and friends. We'll be going to the pool and camping and staying in our jammmies and eating watermelon and ice cream and being outside as much as possible.
You know, the good stuff.
Making memories.
Here's to living life with our hearts & minds wide open.

How great is this?! I won't have any dedicated, uninterrupted long-term time with the fam this summer, but I HAVE started a new thing this summer where I don't touch the computer or any projects once I get home with the kids from daycare. It has freed up So. Much. Time. and while at first it was weird to get used to, having a chunk of real free time each evening to play with the kids, get dinner on the table without feeling so overwhelmed, reading FOR LEISURE, and being in bed before a billion o'clock has been -- at the risk of sounding hyperbolic -- life changing.

Hope that you thoroughly enjoy your camping trip and the 'unplugging' of sorts. I just got back from camping on the California Coast and it was wonderful beyond words! Can't wait to see the photos!
