i have followed your blog for while but have never written.... I feel compelled to say that my word is RELAX. I am 6 months pregnant and have a 5 year old as well. and i have a feeling that life is going to get a lot more hectic with the new baby. so my word is RELAX!

Read your blog and donna's everyday first thing in the morning over coffee before the house errupts. I am not so good on the computor and i am trying to set up our own blog. time will tell. We live on a station in Outback NSW, Australia.

My word is serendipity--I have an a-frame ceiling in my studio, and it's going on the ceiling across from my desk tonight.

My word is happy! Thanks for getting us to think of one little word. I'm off to make something to remind me of this now :)

I took a LONG time to deliberate my word - and when it finally hit me it was the most obvious word I could have chosen. It has inspired a new look blog based on my word for 2007 - and no doubt lots of art will follow too :-)

my word for 2007 is REDISCOVER
for so many reasons, it is time. at 35, a sahm of two daughters, and finding out that due to complications with my last pregnancy, that i'm no longer able to have babies, there is so much *work* for me in my new journey about rediscovering myself as a woman, as a mother, as a wife, as a sister, a daughter, a friend, and how i will *fill my time* as my girls grow up.

Awesome challenge! My word is Meaningful, and this is my mini book... it was so much fun. Thank you Ali, this has really made me think about making my life more meaningful. I only got the outside of the book done and will slowly fill the inside as I feel inspired.

I just subscribed to your newsletter and caught on to the wonderful idea of choosing an inspiring word for the year. Paula of Mini Book Pixie told me about you all.
My word is GENTLENESS.
I need much more of that in my life. It is linked to serenity and calm, and noticing, and being. I am so not like this. I would like to be more GENTLE and notice more GENTLENESS. The world can be a rough, fast, cold, hard place. My little corner can be more GENTLE perhaps...will be thinking about a LO or another way to show GENTLENESS on my blog in the next few days :-)
(BTW, I seem to have posted almost the same comment I just made here as 'Sara Berry' too - I am not familiar with that name or person. It happened when I was having trouble subscribing to your site a few days ago).
