My word for this year is "moments" - I live a hectic and busy life, and too often I don't spend those extra "moments" enjoying my kids and their every day.

My word is EXPERIENCE (after much deliberation and looking up words in the dictionary and thesaurus). I hadn't posted but thought someone else had and didn't see it on the list. LOVE this; I expect to get a lot of mileage with this word over the next year and for it to be very high-quality "therapy".

Hi Ali!
The word I chose is "give." Last year at an all girl's weekend we were going around the group and throwing out one word that would define each person. When it was my turn the first word that came out was "reserved." Ouch! I think of reserved as being somewhat cold, not showing emotion and stoic. Even though I think of myself as a warm person, I know I do hold back at times. So personally I'm going to work on giving more of my self to others. The second reason I like give is in relation to my scrapbooking. I have done a lot of "cute" los. Eye candy if you will. After reading your book A Designer's eye for scrapbooking I have decided that I want to give my family scrapbooks that they can cherish. Not just eye candy but true documentation of what our lives are like.
