Two things.
Tags:First, happy Tuesday (and happy September as well).
Second, this morning is the Open House at Simon's school. I am a bundle of excitement + nerves + can't-believe-he-is-old-enough-to-be-going-to-kindergarten thoughts.
Last night we celebrated with back-to-school brownies.
Open house today with his first full-day (+ a bus ride home to our doorstep) on Thursday. I think he is most excited about the bus bringing him home. Last night, in reference to coming home on the bus, he said to me: "Mom, no come outside" - which essentially means he wants to ring the doorbell.
A big week celebrating big steps.

I scrapped a friend's girls going bts...it would be perfect for Simon's big day.
Charge your batteries tonight for your camera!

Simon's comment nearly brought me to tears, so I can imagine the emotions it provided you as his mama. Way to go big guy!!! And honestly, how sweet is that?? oh my goodness... Heidi

Biiiiggg steps. My daughter started kindergarten this year, too and it was full of excitement + nerves. I'm feeling you. She was nervous but once she realized she was all grown up like big sis walking to school, she was fine. http://superwomanscrapper.blogspot.com/2007/09/back-to-school.html
Good luck to Simon and can't wait to hear what he learns in school. Mine comes home singing new songs everyday of things she is learning in kindergarten. So proud!

Now how are you going to obtain the get of the big bus photo? Will have to bribe one of the the neighbours. I love the door bell ringing desire, though. Very, very cute! Congratulations on becoming a big school mum. May it be all your family has wished it to be.

How sweet! It is terrific to see his independence flourish. My little boy started Kindergarten last week and he absolutely loves to ride the bus too. His favorite part of the day!
