I took all of the pictures that I took around my garden when I was about 13 and made a mini book out of them. I also included memories of growing up there.
Congrats on the new baby and the new book!

I am a mini book addict, love making them, many I keep but many more get given away. My favorite one so far is my "mixed up" album inspired by yours. I filled mine with memories from our family reunion this summer. Looking forward to seeing the book, I just know it fantastic!

Hi there!
I love making minis! My latest work in progress is called "pieces of today." I just picked a day to record everything that we did and am putting it together using a lot of felt!
I love your work!

This looks like such a great book. I'd love to get my hands on one.
My favorite mini album was made for my hubby. I had never scrapbooked much for anyone besides myself and I enjoyed the process of creating a book for someone else.

I did a minibook for my Grandma's 80th birthday last year, "5 things I love about my Grandma." It was sooooo easy, and turned out beautifully and her enjoyment and surprise was absolutely priceless. I repeated the same formula for my mom this past Mother's Day and she loved it.
Thanks for your inspiration Ali! It has made a difference in my life :-)

I can't wait to get my hands on your latest book! So very exciting. My favorite mini album is one that I did this summer of the Country Fair. It's actually the first mini album I have completed. That's so embarrassing to say!!

I'm planning on making a "Fresh Picked" book from this summer's photos. We've picked strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, peaches, cucumbers and corn - and many many dandielions.

Yeah, a new book! We have an 8-month (almost 9-month) old who loves to "read". I'd love to make a mini "family" book with pictures of our family - who live 1400 miles away from us!

I can't wait to start a mini book about the cars my hubby has owned. I found lots of old pictures of his first car which sparked the idea. I am doing it on a black background and have found lots of cool stuff to add to it!

My favorite mini book I created was about my roommates from college. I had tid-bits and pictures from years ago and it was great to re-live some of those fun days while making my mini-book.
A mini book that I am looking forward to creating is about buying our first house and moving away from our friends. We bought our first home in April and I have been wanting to create something to celebrate this accomplishment.

My favorite mini-book project is a little book I created for a cocoa tin I found at an antique store. One of my favorite things to do to spark creativity is to go to my fav antique store and find empty containers of all kinds. Then I will make a mini-book to fit inside that container. Sometimes I will decorate the outside of the container, sometimes not. In the case of the cocoa tin, I just tide a gingham ribbon around the outside and let the rustic "old" look show through.

Looking forward to the new book! I am sure it is fantastic! I just spent a weekend in NYC with my family visiting some friends. I am currently making a mini album about that weekend. Too many photos and stories for a page in our family album and not enough content to warrant an entire 12x12 album. Mini albums rock!

I made a book on shutterfly about my daughter's baseball team. She loves it and it was a lot of fun, and easy.

Ali I love mini books and am currently excited to be working on a Halloween one for this year that is a haunted house theme. My kids love to look through the minis they are much easier for them to handle than the big 12x12 layout books. Congrats on all the exciting things going on in your life!

I've gotten into traveljournals recently, I'm really happy with this one I made last June

it doesn't look perfect but it has a spontaneity about it 'cause I created it so quickly without putting too much thought in it, for me it represents the atmosphere of that weekend-break.

My favorite mini-book project is PROOF. After I read about it in Studio-A, I started noticing all my little proofs and my family's little proofs. A fun way to capture the real us.

Hey Ali... would love to win a copy of the book.
I think my favorite mini-album would have to be one I created for jotting down great things that my son says/questions he has asked. It is amazing what great things kids say, their perspective, and capturing their sweet and innocent view of the world.
Congrat's on your new bundle of joy! Hope you are feeling well.

My favorite mini book that I've made was for St. Patrick's Day several years ago, and is called "Lucky." It's a tribute to the fact that my parents, my husband's parents, and my husband's sister's inlaws all consider each other family. It's truly special to be a part of one another's lives and I felt that was something to celebrate.
