My favorite thing has to be spending time with the family!!!
A close second is decorating the house. It is amazing how the atmosphere gets so much happier. Sitting on the couch in the dark looking at the tree and the village a glow....it's amazing!!!

Spending time with my children who are growing up way too fast.. we have too many family traditions to mention but I know the kids like baking cookies for our neighbors and friends the best..

My sons are coming home for Christmas. Having our little family (3 of us) all together for the holiday will absolutely be the best gift I've ever received.

I am looking forward to our usual traditions... decorating the tree as a family, school productions, having friends over, Christmas Eve mass, Christmas morning breakfast pizza.... all of it!

I love our decorations, how cozy our house feels, down-time while it's chilly outside. I try to have as much done as I can by 12/1, so that I can spend any free time we have doing "fun" stuff...lots of plays, Nutcracker ballet, baking cookies, wraping presents, admiring our tree. All of that is SO much better than standing in line at the mall!

I love the anticipation of the holidays. Getting ready for the "big day" is, to me, the best part of the holidays. Baking yummy cookies, listening to the music (the earlier the better!)and watching my all time favorite holiday movie ... The Santa Clause.

That's so great about the blog! Congratulations!
I guess what I'm looking forward to most is this album, since it's still only October. lol But after that I think my nephew may understand Santa this year, so that is going to be awesome!

Wow! These giveaways are wonderful. Congratulations on making top 1,000 blogs! I am looking forward to hosting Thanksgiving in my home. I also love the Christmas season. Celebrating it with my children brings back all those magical feelings of the season I had as a child.

I will be most looking forward to savoring the last year my son is in high school and home all December. If all goes "as planned," next year I will be an empty-nester, which means more time to scrap, but a lonely heart. I'm going to appreciate this family holiday season (and take LOTS of pictures)!

Getting to spend Christmas time with my great niece and nephew who had been absent from our lives last Christmas. A reconnection with family has been such a godsend and Christmas will just be a joyous occasion to top off a good year.

I love decorating the house and baking cookies with my kids. And, of course, nothing beats sitting in front of a toasty fire and listening to Christmas music with all six of us, my husband and I and our 4 boys, snuggled up together on our sofa!

I look forward to the sensory overload that only comes with such intensity this time of year. I am already sneaking hits of holiday tunes off my IPod, equal parts Anonymous 4 and Johnny Mathis!
The scent of spice and pine, twinkling lights, gentle snow, allowing just a glimpse of amazing design before turning into a drop of dew, a warm woolen itchy sweater....
All of these combined with the fullness of heart, the sense that all is possible and just for a bit all is right is what I love and look forward to this beautiful, crazy, sacred time of year.

Ali thank you for so much inspiration. I am starting my Dec. Daily album today. I have already been gathering stuff.
I am looking forward to all of our family traditions like baking cookies, decorating gingerbread men, shopping for a child from the Salvation Army tree, Christmas Carols, visits with Santa and especially my childrens wide eyed wonder on Christmas morning! They are growing so fast and I want to capture all the magic while they are young.

Hubs to be and I just got engaged a few weeks ago so it's our first holiday season as an "almost married" couple, as well as our first holiday in a place that's just OURS (moving into our first apartment!). It's going to be full of family, friends, new traditions, re-vamped old traditions and more. I couldn't be more excited.

This will be my son's 2nd Christmas. Last year we ended up going to the ER by ambulance during Christmas morning as he was choking on small piece of wrapping paper that he had put in his mouth!! All turned out well, but I'm really looking forward to a normal Christmas day this year...that doesn't involve a trip to the hospital :)

I am looking forward to sharing some large family meals together. I love when we all get together and make the comfort food we remember from the holidays of our childhood....somehow, it stays the same!
