This giveaway is so awesome. I wasn't planning on doing this Christmas book but the more I thought about it the more excited I became. Started pulling things out last night to compose. I am really looking forward to sharing snow days with my kids. I love it when we get an unexpected day off of school. We play in the snow, sip hot cocoa, and do holiday crafts.

I am looking forward to spending time with family and friends.
Last year my mother, 75 years old, was really sick in the hospital up to and including Christmas day. We spent Christmas day at the hospital thinking she was going to die, but she pulled through and is back home after spending 3 more months being in a nursing home.
My 13 year old daughter had a really bad Christmas last year with that going on and I am so looking forward to making it up to her this year. I can't wait to start the album, it's going to be fun to put together with her help!

I don't know if I can pick one thing! I love everything about the Christmas season, but what I love most is Christmas Day. We made the decision when our kids were babies that we would spend the entire day at home. We do our traveling before or after the 25th,so we have one day were the 4 of us can just be together. Christmas tree lit, music in the background, games...I love that day.

When we relocated last year (late Nov) we spent the holidays by ourselves in an unfurnished house (good thing the dining set arrived just before Christmas eve, otherwise we'll be eating at the breakfast bar, standing!). It was the loneliest Christmas for this family, but the good thing is we have each other, we have a roof over our heads and we have food on the table, certainly something to be thankful for. This Christmas we're looking forward to spend it with relatives in New Jersey, everyone is excited, specially the thought of playing in the snow. It'll be a first for us! :-)

I work a second job in a small retail store and I always look forward to the buzz in the air that comes in November/December. People are happy, and I love seeing what gifts they buy for their friends and family. You can't help but get excited about the magic of Christmas when you can FEEL it all around you.

We are looking forward to all the great things that the holiday season brings and reminds us of. Decorating, making cookies to share, shopping, spending time together, taking pictures, and also remembering just how blessed, thankful and fortunate we are. Thanks so much for all of your inspiration! Happy Holidays!

Congrats Ali, on being names into the top 1000 blogs! That's awesome!
My husband and I are blessed with 5 adult children with a very generous spirit. For the past few years, we've donated most of our Christmas money to charitable causes. Part of our Christmas Day is to share what organizations/people we donated that money to. It is very heartwarming to us that our children truly do find it more blessed to give than to receive.

I am most looking forward to keeping it simple (with decorating, gift giving, etc) focusing more on activities (spending time together as a family, watching Christmas movies, seeing the Rockettes, making hot cocoa, enjoying the Christmas lights, music, etc).
I think your birthday is coming up next week... hope you have a fabulous day planned!
