Three Things + 1 : Lots of Love (and giveaways)
Tags:This week we are taking a peek at a couple Valentine/Love related products. Look for another round of three next week - there are just too many cool things out there for creating projects that celebrate those you love.

• Thinking a little tiny bit about Valentine projects (must be all the pink). Planning to use my new "Loving Stamps" from Technique Tuesday on something Valentine related. You can also pick up a similar digital version called "Loving Life Word Art." You can download the new Technique Tuesday 2009 Winter Supplement (pdf)
to see the entire line of stamps (or go here).

• Speaking of Valentine's, one of my favorite product lines from CHA last summer
(the big Craft & Hobby show) was from Little Yellow Bicycle called "Love Letters." I love the cardstock stickers (shown above),

• This wonderful print that is going to hang somewhere in my house (maybe in the baby's room or a bathroom) from isophotography (found via poppytalk handmade). It would make a great gift for a loved one.
• And one more lovey thing I couldn't resist this week: little love notes tickets from Making Memories.

I love Valentine's Day! We spend the day watching movies and enjoy being around one another. Since my parents no longer live in the country and we feel bad always harrasing his parents, we include our munchkin in most of the festivities. =)

We don't have any firm Valentine's traditions just yet... But I do plan on giving my husband a gift that is for both of us - a new electric wok and two new Chinese recipes a month for the rest of the year. I'm working on my cooking and my man loves Chinese food. Win-win. I'm excited to read the comments and see what others do with their kids so I can start thinking about how to involve our two-year-old in this fun holiday.

We do not do the big things. Flowers, Dinner out, etc. We just keep it small. Cards, and letters , and drawings from the kids. Maybe a few conversation hearts thrown in! Just the time well spent with each other is the most important way to spend Valentines!

In our house I usually start with making something heart shaped for breakfast and possibly lunch too. My son and I make handmade cards for DH...and I make one for DS. We always have a goodie basket for DS to open too. It's just a day that we spend together doing whatever. OH..and we always have a t-shirt related to the holiday for DS. He loves that part. :)

I will be baking a "Heart" brownie for my hubby (the one and only sweets he likes) and decorating v-day cookies for my staff at work. Hoping to also finish a mini-book that has my fave pics of me and my hubby! A quiet dinner and lazy weekend!

I spend valentine's with my sweetie just enjoying our time together. We live in different states right now, so time together is a huge deal.

I usually buy goodies for the kids. I like the idea of the mailboxes and writing each other notes. Going to get some of those.
I also make a nice dinner for us all enjoy as a family. Sometimes I make sugar cookies or chocolate chip. We are cookie loving family!!
My dh doesn't do much for Valentines Day so I do my best to make it fun for the kids. (He's really sweet, but is admitted terrible at holidays and I just don't think Valentines was really a big deal for him when he was growing up.)

I love Valentine's Day for the simplicity of it... love!
We always make sugar cookies for our friends and neighbors and I always host my daughter's class party!
My kids make cards for Daddy and we all have a sweet little dinner together by candlelight. We usually make little heart shaped brownies and ice them! Now that we have kids we usually all celebrate together!
Don't you just love all of the pink!

Love Love Love the things that you picked! Especially the Love stickers and the Love tickets. And your stamps (of course!).
How we celebrate Valentine's huh? We don't do too much. I usually make a card and he buys one. We try to make it out to dinner, but this year we will probably order in or I'll make it because of limited funds (which also means no gifts). We just try to show our love everyday.

I usually get a few trinkety things for the kids as a little surprise and then I cook a nice dinner for my husband and myself and we just spend a quiet evening together.

Valentine's Day is pretty low-key here in NH: I'll cook dinner for the boy and we'll stay in (it's frigid here in the middle of Feb) and cuddle on the couch and watch a movie. Of course, our great dane puppy will need to be involved...so I'm sure he'll be laying between the two of us on the couch.
Great prizes!

Valentine's Day is one of my favorites!! I find it ever so cheering to have all those little red hearts around in the dreariness of winter! My daughter and I made snowflakes this Christmas and they were too pretty to take down-so this week I added strings of colorful hearts to hang with them and keep them up a bit longer. you can see them here: http://sharna.posterous.com/emailing-valentine

I love Valentine's Day. My Mom always did fun stuff for us when we were kids...even through college. Now, I always leave my hubby a note in the morning and we do cards and some sort of fun dinner. I hope to do something special with sending Valentine's this year from our baby!

My husband and I volunteer to babysit for someone else's kids while they go out on a much needed date. Then we celebrate Valentine's on another night nearby when our parents can babysit. Some families don't have nearby grandparents so babysitters are hard to come by.

We usually don't go out to dinner, but we do give each other something and our son as well. I just think it is a fun time to remind someone that you love them. When I was a kid my parents always gave us kids something small and it was always a special day....as my kids get older, I want to make valentine's day a fun day for the family.
