Three Things + 1 : Lots of Love (and giveaways)
Tags:This week we are taking a peek at a couple Valentine/Love related products. Look for another round of three next week - there are just too many cool things out there for creating projects that celebrate those you love.

• Thinking a little tiny bit about Valentine projects (must be all the pink). Planning to use my new "Loving Stamps" from Technique Tuesday on something Valentine related. You can also pick up a similar digital version called "Loving Life Word Art." You can download the new Technique Tuesday 2009 Winter Supplement (pdf)
to see the entire line of stamps (or go here).

• Speaking of Valentine's, one of my favorite product lines from CHA last summer
(the big Craft & Hobby show) was from Little Yellow Bicycle called "Love Letters." I love the cardstock stickers (shown above),

• This wonderful print that is going to hang somewhere in my house (maybe in the baby's room or a bathroom) from isophotography (found via poppytalk handmade). It would make a great gift for a loved one.
• And one more lovey thing I couldn't resist this week: little love notes tickets from Making Memories.

I'm single with no kids, so I don't do a lot of Valentine celebrating, but I do try to make Valentines for my young nieces and nephews as well as my mom and sister!
Thanks for the chance to win some great products!

My husband and I will exchange cards with each other and will probably go out for a nice meal. For our son who is 11 I will have to buy him hershey kisses (he loves those) and some other gift. Maybe some boxers with hearts on them. Not sure yet. But I will buy other Valentine candy. I plan on sending my gd a gift also. She's 5 so I will probably buy her a Strawberry Shortcake doll, some candy, card and will have to mail it to her. Hope I win!

My kids and I make sugar cut out cookies and decorate them. Then wrap them up for family and friends. It's messy but fun. I try to make heart shape food all day for my girls.

Hi Ali!
I've always loved VDay and consider it not so much a "romance" day as a general love your family and friends day. My hubby and I always make heart shaped pancakes and make a point to go out to dinner just us. Our family members all mail little Valentine surprises to each other, and I make a point to handmake some fun cards to send to close friends. Happy early Valentine's to you and yours!

I'm looking forward to making this Valentine's Day special for my 16 month old. We're going to start the day with heart-shaped pancakes, work on some art projects for our loved ones and make a special dinner for Dad.

I always make sure that Valentine's gifts and treats are a total surprise; no one gets to know what will happen. I make the whole family handmade valentines; I just think they are so much sweeter than a store bought card.

My husband and I usually go out for a nice dinner but we try to do it the day before or the day after as it is so crowded on the actual day. We have been together a long time so we are not too bothered about it being on the actual day.

Nothing particularly special I'm afraid! Dinner, usually at a nicer restaurant with my hubby, and flowers of course!

Each year I make my boyfriend (now fiance) a handmade card and we do something super special together. This year we are doing something a little different. We are going to a SU basketball game in the afternoon to cheer our favorite team and then attending a good friend's wedding in the evening. We are going to party it up by celebrating not only our love but theirs as well!

My husband and I go out to dinner at a nice restaurant, but before we go I usually make a fun dinner for my kids. Last year they had a heart shaped pizza and loved it.

I always try to celebrate the small holidays with something little for my nieces and nephews. In atttempts to please their parents by not buying candy I have started giving them small holiday-themed notebooks and pens. They love them!

My 3 children usually wake up to a small little gift of some kind - last year it was Webkins for the younger two and an ITunes gift card for the 12-year old. We all celebrate our family's love on Valentine's Day, it's not just a holiday for mommy and daddy. We usually have a special candlelight dinner together in the dining room and a sinful chocolate dessert follows.

We make heart shaped cookies the night before, and get a heart shaped pizza for dinner. After dinner we look at the Valentines cards the kids got at their parties that day.

Hello, we actually celabrate Valentines day on May 8th. We decided on an other day because of the commercial aspect of Feb 14th, but still wanted to set one day aside to celebrate. We picked a spring day to have a chance for a romantic walk before a restaurant and a look at the sky together!

I love those Valentine and Oh Dear line! Too cute!!
For Valentine's Day my husband and I will usually go out to dinner. Then for the kids they wake up to a little treat on the table. It was a tradition for my mom to give us shoes so I am passing that on to my kids. :D

My mom always sends me a fun v-day package in the mail, which I save to open until the actual day. I make cards for my boyfriend and roommates and usually go out to dinner and a movie with my boyfriend, who brings me a sweet bunch of flowers if he's smart! ;)

I'm going to take a cue from a friend who always cooks an all-red dinner for Valentine's Day. What fun!
